Roxy made her way down the stairs to the kitchen. It was her seventeenth birthday today and she was completely ecstatic about it. She was becoming legal finally in the Wizarding World. She looked around and could see that her grandmother must have been up at the crack of dawn getting things prepared but for some reason wasn't present in the kitchen at the moment. "She must be taking a rest", she thought to herself then looked out of the window. "Whoa!", she said a loud as she headed out into the garden.

Lucy walked down from the bedroom where she was staying this summer. She had spent a few weeks at her real house with her father and mother, but finally got permission to come here for the remainder of the summer. It was a much more fun place to spend her time. She started browsing around the kitchen and eventually pulled an apple from the fridge. Sitting down at the table she pulled the Daily Prophet to her and began to read the latest article. She could barely believe that one of her classmates had been killed. It was just unbelievable. Was Hogwarts safe anymore? She had always assumed that after Voldemort, all of this kind of stuff was over. Looked like she was wrong. Lucy took another bite of her apple and finished reading the article.

Trent slowly walked into the kitchen of the Burrow. The door had been wide open, and Hugo had said that he could just walk in. Trent looked up, and saw a pretty redhead reading the Prohet and eating an apple. "Oh...Hi." he said, putting his trunk and cat kennel down. "Is Hugo here? I'm his friend Trent." he smiled at the girl, then looked at her face closely. "You look familiar...are you in Hufflepuff?" he asked.

Lucy looked up from the paper when she heard someone enter the kitchen. She had assumed that it was one of her cousins coming in, but was surprised to see that it was another boy that she was pretty sure was in Hufflepuff. Yeah, Hugo is upstairs. I think? She wasn't entirely sure where he was, but she knew he was in the house. I'm Lucy, yeah I'm in Hufflepuff, you are too right? The one with millions of siblings? She smiled at him, hoping she had who is was right. Her eyes glanced down to where he had laid his stuff, Are you staying here for a while?

Yeah, I'm going to be a fifth year," he said. He nodded at her mention of his family. "Yeah, that's me. There's only ten of us, but it sure feels like a million sometimes." He followed her gaze to his things. "I'm not sure how long I'll be staying. I've got to stop back at my house before classes start, but I'll probably be here for a few weeks." Trent looked around the room. "Hugo must have exaggerated when he told me that the house would be packed." he said, sitting down next to her. "The house seems pretty deserted to me."

She smiled when he said about it seeming like a million siblings, Oh I understand, it feels like I have about a million cousins. Of course I'm one of the younger ones so that is always fun. She shook her head and chuckled remembering how protective all the cousin could be. Well I guess that mean's I'll be seeing you around here then. Oh, its not crowded now, but just wait, it will be. You won't have any room to breathe soon. And then you will wonder why you wanted to come here in the first place. She smiled and moved over so he had more room, So does your family have any big plans for the summer?

"I was wandering that when Hugo invited me here," he said, laughing. "He invited my brother Liam as well, but Liam's family is going to Ireland and India this summer." He nodded a little when Lucy asked him about his plans. "I'll probably go home a week or two before school starts. My mom has some kind of suprise planned." He shuddered slightly. "While I'm here I'll just hang out with Hugo. That's pretty much the main reason I came so soon." His face became serious. "I don't think Hugo knows about what happened at the end of the year ball."

She smiled and got off her seat and grabbed a glass from the cupboard and then turned to look at him, I'm sorry, would you like something to drink? Lucy waited for his answer and turned to get some pumpkin juice, Well, I hope that you have a good time being here, it might be nice to have someone new here. Lucy nodded at Trent, Yeah, I think I'll be going home to toward the end of the summer. My dad wanted to have some "family time" She shook her head, family time was never as fun as it sounded at least with her father. Sometimes it was, but most the time, it was some form of learning. Hearing his voice turn more serious, she looked over at him curiously, she hadn't been able to make it to the dance either, What happened at the ball? I wasn't there. It seemed like everytime there was a ball some type of drama happened, fighting, someone spiking the punch, all sorts of things. What could have happened this time?

"Louis broke up with Christine and told Alanna to break up with Hugo." Trent shook his head. "Hugo was in St. Mungo's, and he's always a little out of the loop, so I doubt he knows." Trent looked around and stood up. "I guess I'd better go up and talk to him." He went and grabbed his stuff. "It was really great meeting you, Lucy." he said, smiling as he went up the stairs. He had to push Lucy from his mind and concentrate on Hugo.
