Lily smiled at her mother and nodded at her offer. She was about to make a comment about Quidditch but then heard James speak up again and Lily rolled her eyes. "Yeah James my eyes are misleading me, I suggest you start using your own head before you catch something" Lilly retorted as she grabbed a pillow from the bed and hit him in the head with it. Afterwards she got up and started leaving the Attic. She wasn't gonna let anything her hoe-ish brother said to her get to her. He needed a serious wake up call and she wouldn't be sympathetic when that day came. As she walked down the stairs she mumbled 'what a slut' under her breath.

James caught the pillow with ease and didn't even turn to face her when she did it. He just shook his head at her comments and waited for her to be gone from the room.

"You guys might want to check her on that mouth of hers, someone her age should learn more important words then "slut"....there is a double standard, I'm well aware of it...but she won't be so lucky if she doesn't watch it."

He thought about a few of the girls that were still at school and smirked, they surly would cause some sort of news flash to her..he wasn't worried at all.

"You going to try out for the team this year Al?"

Albus sighed. Siblings... He sure got into it plenty with James, but Lily and James were always bickering about something. He looked at James, an eyebrow rasied at his question. "Of course I am. I do every year, and now that you're gone, there's all the more reason." Albus would never let James know it, but he had long since been sick of his older brother always being one step ahead, in everything. Next year was Albus's year, and he was still pissed he had to wait for James to leave before he could do anything but stand in his shadow. "It's either Ren or me for captian and, well, I plan to go out for seeker too. I'll have some help training this year, and I guess we'll just have to see. Although, Ren is training all summer with the entire team for Puddlemere United, so I think she's got me beat." Albus was throughly jealous of his friend, though still happy for her. It's not everyday you get a chance to play agaisnt league Qudditch players while still in school.

She watched as Lily stormed out of the room, she would have a chat with her later but for now Ginny listened to the convorsation between James and Albus. Them talking about quidditch brought back memories of her high flying days playing for the Holyhead Harpies, her favorite team growing up. Something caught her interest as Albus said that Ren Wood would be training with Puddlemere United this summer. She smiled sweetly and said to him:

"Well you know Al, your father was a well known seeker in school, the best Gryffindor had seen in years. And I did have a small professional career playing quidditch if you remember for the Holyhead Harpies, Dear. I wasn't always senior quidditch reporter for the Daily Prophet, you know."

James looked at his brother, half amused and half concerned for what he was getting at. There was no denying that out of all the Potter siblings that James was the most well known, a fact that he really couldn't help. He just naturally had that something that attracted people. He was great at almost anything he did, sports and even academics included, though just like his uncles he used it to other means.

"I'm not going to apologise for being in the lime light Albus, it's not like I asked for it ok...I tried for it just like everyone else does and yeah I got it...big deal..I more then anyone would have been happy to try to help you work to get it.."

The mood had turned for the worse and James no longer wanted to be near his family. He looked at his mother, probably one of the only females he every truly trusted...then to his father..he looked away and walked out.

Harry watched the bickering between Lily and James, he would probably have to have a talk with James later about being a little nicer to his sister, even though he knew James was only looking out for her. He gave a small shake of his head as Lily and James both left, Yep, probably gonna need a talk James was getting older though, and Harry didn't know how much he would really listen to him. He turned back to Al. Your mother is right, I was a pretty good seeker in my day. I'd love to take you out and give you some pointers, if you'd like. And of course your mother was a fabulous player as well. He turned to Ginny and smiled at her. She could probably give you a few pointers as well. He remembered watching Ginny play for the Harpies, at times it made him miss quidditch, but he loved his job at the Ministry so he was happy just to watch Ginny. He turned back to look at Albus, he had seen Albus fly many times and knew that he was good. But considering who Ren's father was, it was a good possibility that she was a quidditch crazy as Oliver was. What position does Ren play again?

"Yeah, and I work twice as hard..." Albus muttered under his breath. James knows what he's doing to me, and if he needs to leave to blow off some steam, so be it. As his parents started remiding him about their own careers in Quidditch, he laughed slightly. "I know, I know... You're both great. I get it, I get it..." he said. "Ren plays Keeper mostly, what else? Sometimes she's Chaser though.. And, I think I'll be alright on the help. I'll play with you guys a bit this summer, but I've got a friend who's pretty good and he said he'd help me..." Albus trailed off uncomfortably. Ummm, probably shouldn't have even mentioned that, actually. Don't ask, don't ask... Albus sat down on the side of his bed, looking away from his parents. I don't think they would be very receptive to Scorpius and I being friends.... "So, when's dinner?" he asked, quickly trying to change the subject. "I'm starved!"

Well, I hope the kids can finally beat the parents this year. Harry smiled remember the quidditch games, sometime they would play kids vs adults once the kids has started to get old enough to play. They normally turned out to be pretty good games. We are gonna have to start switching up the teams if you all keep getting better. Harry didn't even notice that Albus trailed off uncomfortably when mentioning his friend, and never paid it another notice. Well if you think your friend can help you more that you parents I guess that would work too. Harry laughed as Al mentioned dinner. James had asked that a few moments before and never received an answer. I'd imagine it would be soon, I think most the family is here. Do you know Ginny?
