The text placement you have really doesn't bother me that much, it's the font you picked for his name o.O also yeah, I'd move the text up a bit since you have all that space above it to mess around with. |

Dove, I'd be interested in making a sig using those pictures you used to show you how I'd do it, if that helps. I know I'm not a sig expert (by far) but maybe whatever I do could give you some ideas. |

How is this looking, text and background-blending wise? I'm trying to take all of the various comments I've been getting into consideration to make an awesome siggie.

The blending is great ^_^, the text however....it just takes time lolz 1st thing, the two different texts don't compliment each that well. Try using one of the more default/basic fonts as one of your choices if you're going to use two like so... ![]() I know I tend to use Times/Times New Roman a lot but it works with a lot of different fonts *nods* 2nd thing, I can tell you lightened the opacity and that's fine BUT the glowing on it...meh it kinda drowns the text out a bit with both. I'm not really a fan of the glowing text period but sometimes you can make it work *nods* ALSO if you used the glow just to make your text seen more you can always duplicate the layer and change the font color and move it so that it sticks out a bit....like so... BLACK UNDER WHITE ![]() WHITE UNDER BLACK (the Leon part) ![]() Hope this helps a bit **EDIT** Oh and to add something about blending. I suggest blending using Layer Masks that way if you erase something you can easily bring it back. I go over Layer Masking in the Charlie O'Shea sig tut I believe in the tut section. And this is for Photoshop O.O |

I think Moni covered it all!!! Oh wait.... One thing I noticed is it usually works better to do the name larger than the quote. For some reason it just looks better. To me anyways. But then again im full of opinions. Lol the blending looks amazing tho! Keep it up!

Stocks and textures *nods* all the sigs I posted have either a stock or texture or just a combo of both *nods* OH and COLORING! If you've got great coloring you don't need much play around with selective coloring and contrast and photo filters man it'll get addicting lolz Also, try sharpening the pics a bit

lolz well you never want to keep the original color of the pictures you use, that's boring. You want to make them interesting and selective coloring, color balance, etc. all helps with that. All of my sigs I use selective coloring and now I've added photo filters and I always mess around with the contrast and such. I have two tuts that use selective coloring and such, I suggest looking them over so you can have an idea of how they're used

What are photo filters, and where can I find them?
How's this looking? I messed with the font a little, added the moon, changed the color balance, levels, and sharpness . . .

Photo Filters are just a layer that add a soft color, if you go to Layer >>> New Adjustment Layer >>> Photo Filter, you'll be there
And yeah that's looking a little more lively now But oh I forgot to mention, Selective Coloring works really well if you add a fill color of some kind of yellow first and set that layer to soft light then go from there, it makes the colors more eye popping and drastic and KEWL
lolzI like the moon, though the only thing is you've got open space between picture one and picture two. It might work better if you A.) Make it bigger so it can bee seen on both sides of picture 2 or B.) place is in the middle but not directly dead center of the two pics if that makes any sense or you could even move pic 1 closer to pic 2 and blend them that way but that'd be more blending lolz....hmmm and the font... Try a simple font for her name, even more simple. It doesn't have to be times it can be like Arial or something and ALSO you can fool around even more with font...ready for this... click the text tool, then go up to the tool bar, you'll see a button that looks like a list on a piece of paper, it should be the last button. Click it and then a box should pop up with tabs that say Character and Paragraph. There you can fool with spacings of your letters and make lower case letters look upper cased and all that jazz

Ooh, I know about the text stuff. As for the soft light/fill color layer . . . is this just another thing to do as opposed to messing with the color balance? It seems to have a similar effect. And should it be yellow, or will any color work? Thanks for all the help! |

The soft light fill color layer is like a base for all coloring you do, it just makes everything pop more. It's there to help emphasize, and hmmm I've never really tried any other color so that I'm not quite sure of. I can do some experiments since I'm messing around with coloring right now anyhow
I'll most likely post my results to my colorings in a tut before I go to bed *nods* But no probies
