Kaden let out a sigh and looked around at his classroom. At the current time it was empty and that didn't bother him at all. He kind of liked the silence before the storm. Once everyone walked in, it could be a little bit crazy. A few of his earlier lessons were sort of crazy and that was a little bit more then he expected it would be.

But slowly a few people walked into his classroom, and he let out a small grin. This wasn't too bad at all. He could make this work pretty well. He taught a little bit of the year before, so this wasn't too scary. At first he'd been scared that it was going to be terrifying, but he'd learned that it wasn't true at all. People respected him a great deal and he didn't have too bad of a time.

"Good day everyone. I hope you're not too worried about this. My name is Professor Falls and I taught a little bit last year, but I still am a rather new professor around here."

That was a pretty good way to get into the grove of this. These students were all around sixteen or seventeenish. At least, that's what he'd been told. There had been a good deal of gossip going on about the school year and all of that. It did help him figure out what he needed to do in order to plan to teach.

"Today we're going to do a pretty easy topic. We're going to be talking about Voldemort. He originally went through his years at Hogwarts, but that's because no one expected he'd be anything like how horrible he was. He thought it was sort of his duty to wipe out anyone who wasn't pureblood. Now, this is a little bit of a touchy subject for a lot of people. So I want you to go ahead and read the chapter in your book about the starting of the Voldemort wars. That's all and class is dismissed."

OOC: Alright, I want you to just post your characters listening to the short lesson and then doing whatever

Alice walked into her history class, a little excited as to what she was going to learn about...or at least trying to get excited. She had learned through no one but her own readings that sometimes the past is the key to the future. She wasn't too sure what it meant just yet but thought that one day maybe she would. She ended up walking into the class with a few students, some she knew and others she didn't. She took her normal seat, about midway of the classroom and took out her book. She looked out the window and saw that it had started to snow and instantly wished that she was outside. She was more of the outdoors type then being confined in a classroom. She sighed a little to herself as she remembered that she wouldn't be out there for a while, the day had just begun.

Once the Professor started talking she broke her gaze from outside and placed her attention on him. She flipped through the pages of the book until he told them what the topic was which caused her to look up. Voldemort was a name that her family talked about a lot, more so then she'd like to admit. She rubbed her neck slightly out of being uncomfortable about the subject choice. Even if she was a pure blood it still was pretty weird to talk about, at least for her it was. Finally she got to the correct page and noted to piece of clip art they used to illustrate him and the dark mark that he was known for. She recalled a few of her family members had worn such a thing and her arm burned a little. She rubbed over the area that wasn't branded by anything other than goosebumps.

Sora entered the classroom. Her last class of the day and then she could go play in the snow! She hurriedly placed her books down on a desk and listened to Professor Falls talk. Falls....so this must be Max's dad. Funny, they didn't look anything alike and Professor Falls looked really young to have a kid.

They were talking about Voldemort? Sora had grown up hearing stories about him. About how bad he was, all of the evil things he did. The one thing that stuck with her the most was that he had a werewolf deatheater...Greyback was his name. Hearing about him had made her feel ashamed that one of her kind could fight with someone so horrid. Her dad told her about what it felt like to fight against Voldemort and how many they had lost. Even as a young girl, Sora had sucked the stories up. That is, until her mom caught her dad telling them.

Sora got drawn out of her thoughts by two sugar-coated gummy legs sticking out of her blazer pocket. Martin poked his body out and quickly crawled up onto her desk. "Martin! Come back here!" Sora hissed. She quickly cupped her hands around Martin and put him back in her pocket, hoping the Professor didn't notice the Sour Spider.

So far the day hadn't been bad at all. School was something that Lottie enjoyed, even if she was a Hufflepuff. She always seemed to have her notes in order, homework finished, extra credit waiting to be completed and she studied hard which earned her high enough grades that she might as well be a Ravenclaw. In fact... during the sorting ceremony in first year that old hat had considered that house for her. But with a quick burst of panic at not being in the same house as her brother she'd turned out to be a Hufflepuff and was proud to show it.

Heading into the History of Magic class, she'd sat down and pulled out her books gazing up at the new professor... she'd heard a couple rumors but nothing to horrible. Apparently he had a son here, who happened to be a Huffie just like she was which interested her quite a bit though she still wasn't sure which one of the shy younger kids he was yet. She didn't even know his first name.

Realizing she was drifting off into her own little world Charlotte quickly paid attention once more and her brows rose slightly in soft surprise at the topic. For once... History might be interesting... Sure she knew how horrible Voldemort had been, she'd researched into it growing up and into Harry Potter and such... she even knew that some of his family members worked in Diagon Alley but she tried not to gape in awe. The people were really just trying to live their lives.

Prof. Falls assigned the text page and she flipped to it, pulling out a sheet of parchment and a quill just by habit to jot down notes. Her deep brown eyes moved to the page and she started to let them scan over the words, taking in the new information.

Nick was sitting at the front listening very carefully at Professor Falls as the subject was very interesting 'cuz his uncle. He had heard so many stories from his parents so he could understand for what dark times his Professor was talking about.
