Almost everyone I met who is into her has a dull personality and only like music that's being played by radio. That's all.

Okay to be honest I havent listened to much of anything from her I just know she's some sort of new age-ethnic type music making person. Like Yanni?

I love that episode of South Park where they torture someone by making them listen to Enya.

I don't really hate her stuff, but why does it all sound the same? Like REALLY the same. Every single song on every single album is produced the same way. It's almost funny!

:chuckle:

She defines elevator music. Sighing over some synthesizer arrangement.

I am intrigued. I will head over to youtube to check out some of her stuff. If I don't report back I probably fell into an Enya-induced coma.

This will sell in the millions of course.

It's strange though that in my 32 years on this earth I have never once met someone who has bought an Enya cd.

I have 4 of her CD's. She great when she wants to be, really. But her earlier stuff is much better. She's done some amazing almost-pop-songs.

i loved Enya and find Watermar, The Celts and Shepherd Moons piece of art, but she lost her touch with A Day Without Rain and definetly lost it with Amarantine, that i found soooo boring. I will buy this Christmas album.

I love playing Shepherd Moons on days like these, when the first rain of autumn come and you stay home. Autumn in Spain is very weird, because our climate means that for 4 months there was not a bit of rain except storms and now it starts to rain and you can't be on the park anymore.

The albums you mentioned, Karb, are really close to being masterpieces. My favorite album of hers, though, is The Memory of Trees, it is SO beautiful.
