Initial ratings:

Axis - 9/10
Bolshy - 8/10
Love Is A Bourgeois Construct - 10/10
Fluorescent - 7/10
Inside A Dream - 9/10
The Last To Die - 8/10
Shouting at the Evening - 7/10
Thursday - 9/10
Vocal - 8/10

They'd be insane not to release "Thursday" as a single. The fact that it features Example could also give it a huge boost. "Love Is A Bourgeois Construct" is an instant classic! It sounds like everything that's wonderful about PSB rolled up into one MASSIVE tune. :drama:

If Madonna had any remaining sense, she should be begging to make an album with PSB and Stuart Price co-writing and producing. Imagine if this was the new Madonna album? People would eat it up!

The only way this album could be any better is if it came with a £50 note tucked into the sleeve.

Funnily enough, contrary bastard that I am, "Love is a ..." is one of my least favourites so far. I do like it, but I've never been a huge fan of their "anthem" tracks. The bird loves it, however.

"Inside a Dream" is my favourite so far. It's lush on an international scale.

The whole album sounds like a bunch of people who got together and had an absolute blast in the studio. Certain megastars should take note.

Oh god NO!

Let the PSB do their thing, and Stuart Price has had little to no success outside of COADF.

Madonna should get Patrick Leonard back.

Now, back to PSB.

Am now loving "Love Is A Bourgeois Construct". Your top three are my top three as well, Fembo. Although I also extremely fond of "Bolshy".

Nonsense. Commercially he may not be hugely successful, but his production is almost always top notch. Confessions was brilliant. Scissor Sisters "Night Work" album was sublime. His production duties with The Killers, Take That and Kylie has also been very enjoyable.

But yes, Patrick Leonard needs to make a return for the songwriting.

It's almost always the same shit. The only way anything he produces is palatable is when the artist he's producing for puts in their 50%. You don't actually think PSB sat back and let him write this album for them, do you? It's Price, but still PSB. Madonna is not PSB. She's not a real producer. She needs people to guide her (and let's them do it when she isn't being a sanctimonious cunt). An album with Price would be a Stuart Price album, not Madonna, and that's what COADF was: Stuart Price featuring Madonna.

He doesn't have range as a producer.

Price was Madonna's worst musical director. He made her songs sound cheap as hell.

Stuart Price, Mirwais, and William Orbit = yesterday's garbage in Madonna Land.

There's nothing more to be gained from these people for her.

I'd love her to do an album and tour with Stuart. The arrangements on the three tours he worked on were vastly superior to the last two. The PSB's are apparently planning a trilogy of albums with him - which is fab news.

Well, that's bollocks. "Confessions" was far more pop and disco oriented than anything else he has done before or since. If anything, it's the remixes he did for her that were much more in-keeping with the sound he cultivated as Les Rythmes Digitales and Zoot Woman.
