Also of note, last weekend up against Angels and Demons, Star Trek came out second for the weekend but won Saturday and Sunday. It was only because of the curiousity factor of Angels and Demons Friday night, that it came out on top.

Have been away, only got back today. Hopefully seeing it this weekend, work
permitting :alexz:

My Trekkie sister gave her opinion yesterday - she wasn't keen on Chris Pine as Kirk apparently, though she liked Zachary. She's a total Next Gen and Depp Space Nine fan though so she's not so into the Original Series characters (the loon!)

They hoped it might become a massive hit, but come on, it could have ended up tanking with about $50m. It didn't do too badly really.
