I can sort of understand his anger at the guy who interupted him buy considering that Christian Bale's MOTHER reported him to the police for assaulting her and the fact that he had to go in to be questioned about it would indicate that Mr Bale has quite serious anger problems.

Well his sister also reported him. And no charges were brought as they decided not to press charges. They have not sold their stories to the press which they WOULD have done if they were out to 'get' him. I wonder what they did - stand in front of the TV when he was watching it?

Christian Bale needs to be careful - he appears to have a tendency to violent over reaction. If he doesn't address his obvious anger issues then he'll end up like Val Kilmer - talented but unable to find work because of his prickish behaviour.

it seems his ART wasn't all that, after all. however shite the film may be, a sole oscar nomination for direction of photography would be well deserved for obvious reasons.

I gave my tickets away for last night's media screening - my colleagues who went said it was just very disappointing...it plodded along, no great story and weak acting.
Glad I couldnt make it now.

Yeah, that seems to be the general concensus. I'm pleased that Star Trek won't face any real competition from it now. :)
