It doesn't look any more ridiculous than the real movie.

I thought French and Saunders had retired as a double act?

They did, but this is a short one-off just for Red Nose Day.

They are continuing their tour this summer in Australia though. It's the Cher Never-ending Farewell Tour.

Joanna Lumley playing Christine Baranski's role is genius. Baranski's role on Cybill was meant to be a US version of Patsy.

I hope this leaks online, I love French, Saunders, Joanna and Matt Lucas

Well parodies are usually only as good as their source material, and Mamma Mia was very mediocre. Are they taking the piss out of it?

Yeah, they keep referring to it as "The genius of ABBA...with some words inbetween", which is essentially what the film was! They took the piss out of Pierce Brosnan's voice too. The second part was a bit better!

It was shit! Mind you, none of the other Comic Relief skits tonight were funny.

I did enjoy The Royle Family one. Oh and Catherine Tate's granny.

The James Corden/British football team one was hopeless. The less said about the Little Britain/Robbie Williams sketch the better.

Oh I missed all those! Whoops!!

I couldn't face 'The Corden'. I wish I could program my TV so that it automatically switches channels whenever he comes on. VILE! :voodoo:

Someone needs to beat the shit out of Lucas and Walliams! What the fuck are they thinking?! Stop with the Little Britain shit already!

The French and Saunders parody was pretty crap, but there were some good bits, especially what they did to Pierce Brosnan. Alan Carr was hilarious! Joanna Lumely was to die for!

I'm so fucking sick of Catherine Tate!

I didn't see the Royale Family one. Perhaps that one was better.

I'm American and I worship Little Britain. Have the complete series as well as the first season of the US show (which IMO blows compared to the original)

I don't see what they did with the Little Britain stuff here. Walliams was nowhere to be seen and Lucas played a choreographer that he's never played on the series. It'd be one thing if he played Sophie dressed up as Vicky Pollard :lmao:
