This was all a bit disturbing, irriating and pathetic. I don't know what to make of it.

It was very uncomfortable viewing. I don't think we should be putting 10 year olds through that kind of trauma.

But I also find it irritating that they were all manipulated by the tears and tantrums of a child and her pushy mother. It's all wrong on so many levels.

well she is a 10 year old girl, that is not her place, period even if she had the best voice ever

of course she is going to fall apart, everyone around her is more aware of what is going on than she is herself!

it was awful to watch, but I loved every sickening moment of it.

I have no sympathy for this pathetic little fame-whorey child and her stage mom. She obviously craved the spotlight and she burned under it. Whatever.

I kind of feel the same, actually. At first I started to feel a little sorry for her, but when the wailing began, it was just awkward to watch.

This is going to sound callous, but I can't fucking stick kids like that. Honestly, I'd chuck them in a bag with a brick and chuck them in the canal if I could.

The difference in terms of warmth and likeability between her and that Welsh lad is off the scale.
