And talk about music too. Big question: VOGUE or LIKE A PRAYER? Which one do you prefer? I know the words EPIC and ICONIC completely lost their meaning because they're are used all the time, but when it comes to Madonna's carreer you can say that both songs are equally defining moments and are respected by both critics and music lovers. To add, both songs had great video's, have been performed live to cheering crowds and are known even by your Moroccan neighbour. So, strike a pose, get down on your knees and make a choice!

I know it's a bit silly but the general public ruined Like a Prayer for me a bit, it's now too much of a housewives song. Vogue for me is still überfashionable and can still be played in it's original form in clubs around the world and get the same reaction it got a decade ago. I think it's my second favourite Madonna song, right after Get Together (YES!). Of course Like a Prayer meant the transformation of Just-Fun-Madonna into the real popstar Madonna (1987-2006), so it's still a top 10 track for me.

It's just IMMENSE in every single respect. Vocals, melody, lyrics, impact, video. Absolutely stunning. Vogue is an utterly brilliant pop song, but that's it. It's nothing more than that. Like A Prayer is a sublime piece of songwriting in the truest sense of the word.

A gay dance song is so obviously better than an epic songwriting masterpiece like Like A Prayer? Your flippant "of course" implies the poll was a "Vogue Vs. Jimmy Jimmy" affair.
