A rep for Sheryl Crow tells us that the singer's new album will be released July 20th. On Wednesday, March 24th, Sheryl debuted one of the songs from that new album while performing at, of all places, Starbucks' annual shareholders meeting in Seattle.

Performing acoustically, Sheryl sang "Every Day Is A Winding Road," the Bill Withers song "Lean On Me" and the new track, titled "Say What You Want." She told the crowd that the album will be a "departure" for her, explaining, "It's an old kinda soul record, sort of in the tradition of Memphis music like Al Green and...some Motown influence in there as well as Marvin Gaye and Curtis Mayfield." She added, laughing, "It's gonna be a great record, if I do say so myself!"

Sheryl also told the Starbucks shareholders, "I am a Starbucks groupie. I start my day off almost every single day with Starbucks and my son, who's three....my baby sitter used to be a barista. That's why I hired her."
