her ALL NATURAL beauty has finally resurfaced. yes, the upper half of that glorious face probably hasn't moved in ages, but then is there a real need for that? the answer is no. i can't believe how incredibly stunning she's looking at the moment. mixing bottox with hot spaniard cock brings a revolution to cosmetic procedures, well done kylie |

UM WHATEVAH in other news, all the lovers sold a bit more than 49k downloads to land in at number one in our hearts. if it manages to remain in the top6 on second week, it should have a good chance of a new peak the week after when the physicals are out. |

is she doing anything other than jonathan ross, though? definitely not graham norton, as he despises her and i'm not sure there are any other shows she should bother with at this time of the year. |

Digital Spy this week re-evaulates "Light Years"! ![]() Can you believe Light Years was ten years ago? After the relative failure of 1998's Impossible Princess, Kylie Minogue parts ways with trendy dance label Deconstruction and signs to a big old major, assembles a cast of collaborators who've crafted hits for the likes of Robbie Williams, Cher and the Spice Girls, and transforms herself into the greatest disco diva this side of 1978. Translation: she's back. Back. BACK! Release date: September 25, 2000 Songwriting/production cast: Guy Chambers & Steve Powers (four tracks), Richard Stannard & Julian Gallagher (three tracks), Johnny Douglas (three tracks), Mark Taylor & Graham Stack (one track), Mike Spencer (one track), Steve Anderson (one track), Mark Picchiotti (one track). Chart performance: Backed by that bum in those hotpants in that video, album trailer 'Spinning Around' became Kylie's first UK No.1 in a decade. Follow-ups 'On A Night Like This' and 'Kids' - hiya Robbie! - both peaked at number two, and final single 'Please Stay' crept into the top ten too, ushering Light Years towards platinum status in the UK. The sound: If you'll allow us to coin a new word, camptastic! Light Years is a shiny, sparkly early noughties disco record complete with a Village People pastiche ('Your Disco Needs You'), a Donna Summer homage ('Light Years') and even a Barry White cover ('Under The Influence Of Love'). Along the way there's plenty of catchy dance-pop ('Spinning Around', 'On A Night Like This', 'Butterfly'), a couple of groovy '60s tunes ('Koocachoo', 'I'm So High') and just the one ballad, but it's a lovely one ('Bittersweet Goodbye'). Standout track: Hmm... how shall we put it? Baby baby baby, you know we like it like this... Hidden gem: The title track's a shimmering electro-disco delight, and if 'Your Disco Needs You' doesn't put a smile on your face you need a new shrink, but they're both pipped by 'Butterfly', the album's most bangin' track and the very definition of a Shoulda Been Single. Lyrical nugget: This sexy 'n' decadent little couplet from 'Loveboat' always makes us smirk: “Have an Havana / Pass me a peach / Rub on some lotion / The places I can't reach.” Needless to say, we'll take the booze, the fruit and the chance of a cheeky feel. Fascinating fact: Ever noticed the 'Abdul, P.' songwriting credit on 'Spinning Around'? That's because the song was originally intended for the former AmIdol judge's comeback-album-that-never-was... how different things could have been! Our verdict: It's not the album to pop on if you're feeling introspective, or indeed if you're hosting a climate change discussion group attended by Al Gore, the Environment Secretary and sundry Nobel Prize winners, but as far as fruity little party records go, Light Years is an absolute peach. Honestly, there's not a dud on it. Star rating: 5 out of 5 http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/music/thesound/a229821/kylie-revisited-7-light-years.html |

i've never comprehended what was so special about spinning around. back at the time, i thought it was the most generic crap she had released ever since the early pwl days. still, i admit the video/iconic hotpants made wonders for it and it has actually aged rather well. if there's one kylie album that captures the essence of kylie, that's light years. cohesive yet filled with a variety of music styles, almost lacking fillers and packed with potential hits, light years shits all over ambituous projects such as fever minus the killer singles and x-the album that will probably be remembered as the ultimate sabotage of the most eagerly awaited comeback in pop history. butterfly and disco would have been sure fire smash hit singles, but then parlo didn't want to tag her as too gay that with the butch, fiercely heterosexual fever era following right after

I completely agree with every word of that! Spinning Around sounds like something Paula Abdul would write with a crayon...oh wait, that's because SHE DID. The song, album and possibly her entire career were saved because of THOSE hotpants and THAT arse. Very enjoyable album though. It's by far the most consistent album of her career up to this point! |

Yeah, you're right. Kylie is a beautiful woman since ever but her face isn't 100% natural. Look at her cheeks and her forehead, so "perfect" to be natural. I'm not against plastic surgery, eh?. I think you can get better with that if you really want to. I love Cher and her surgery, a magic master piece! |

Right. I never understood why Kylie dediced to continue with EMI. They left two weeks between the digital release and the physical one. Who can understand? They didn't approach the oportunity of giving her #1 (she's 4, but It'll have dificulties in the next weeks). Clever was Katy Perry who set the song on Itunes the same day It was showed on the radio. Now, she's enjoying a big hit!!!!! |

though not trying to find excuses here BUT i really don't think she's ever gone under the knife. surely she's overdozed on bottox and has definitely tried every new cosmetic procedure available to the rich and famous, yet we have to realise this is a 42 year old woman in the pop music business. she needs to look as youthful as possible to stay in the game- sounds harsh, but it's the truth. keep in mind her facial features suffered a major alternation because of the steroids. the differences before and after the cancer ordeal are striking, her face looked stuffed up during the x era. apparently her medical treatment has toned down as she's about to be given the all clear, hence her great look these days. |

It's unlikely that Kylie hasn't had at least a lower face lift, her jawline/neck are a bit too tight to be like that naturally at her age. Remember that many celebs get their first full face lifts in their mid 30s. The change is never drastic when they do but it also gives a head start on anti-aging plastic surgery, making face lifts later on less noticeable. |

i think she actually made a wise choice by sticking with emi. they're the ones who dragged her out of the pop garbage bin and crafted a genius marketing plan in putting her back to the a-list. x was the only album that was mishandled, but it looks like they're back on track with aphrodite. all the lovers may be tied with 2hearts in terms of chart peaks, but it looks like it's set to be a far bigger hit in the long run, probably her biggest seller since head. |
