Some of the merchandise looks quite nice I must say. That hardback tourbook looks very cool. Even some of the t-shirts are very cute in an OTT Kylie kinda way.

Oh MY.

Well speaking of that, I am of course looking to bag myself a hot ghey from the crowd! What's the point of going to a Kylie gig otherwise?

Well I saw the show last night. To sum up, there were some very good bits("Aphrodite", the second part of "Slow" where it raves out, the "Angel" seqeuence including her cover of "There Must Be An Angel" and the finale of "All The Lovers" with the fountains was UTTERLY spectacular) but at least 50-60% of the show was quite dull. She kept losing the audience when doing weaker songs from Aphrodite. So just as she'd get people going, she'd bring them down to earth again with a thud.

On the whole, the costumes weren't nearly as bad as they usually are. There were a few hideous creations or outfits that didn't even remotely fit the song she was singing, but overall they were a vast improvement over most of her other shows.

Glad I went. I'd say that overall it's possibly her best show, even with the dull bits!

really?

i thought it'd be a disappointment when compared to showgirl and the x tour. now i'm really frustrated i didn't seriously consider planning a trip to one of the tour stops :(

did u get any of the merchandise. i'm about to place an order for the tourbook and that fabulous black tshirt with her head statue stamped on it :drama:

also, which version of put your hands up does she perform, is it the album cut or the utterly brilliant pwl insired one from none other than the man himself pete hammond? (btw we need a HQ file of it and PLEASE GOD let this be a single and save us all from pop misery)

:lmao: Alas, I wasn't in the 'jizz zone', so I didn't get splashed. :sadalexz:

FB, I bought the hardback tourbook. A ridiculous price of €40, but I just HAD to have it. Some of the teeshirts are really, really nice too!

What's the story with this Pete Hammond remix? I just heard it tonight. It's cool! Is it official?

Kylie Minogue 'slashes UK gig ticket prices'

Kylie Minogue has slashed the price of tickets for her 'Les Folies' tour in half.

The 'Get Outta My Way' singer is due to perform five nights at London's O2 Arena next week, but has had to cut the cost of tickets to £28.40 from a face value of £65.00, reports Stereoboard.

Minogue has already taken the tour across Europe, performing in Germany, France and Spain. Following her shows in London next week, the singer will take the tour to Japan, Canada and the United States, finishing up in her Australian homeland in June.

The star has previously revealed that her show will contain a "splash zone", which she describes as "highly technical".

It was recently reported that Minogue has bought a £16 million flat in London.

In fairness to her, her tickets are still well below what Madonna would charge and for the first time on any Kylie tour, you can actually see where a lot of the money went, especially the incredible finale!

i thought her london dates had sold reasonably well, maybe they're just trying to give away what's left of the tickets? still, this still has to be a successful tour as no dates have been cancelled. though charging more money for tickets than her past tours, the spectacle looks like it's well worth it. all the lovers has to be her most glorious stage performance, like, ever. can't wait for the dvd.

It really is astonishing! I knew there were going to be some fountains in the show, but I had no idea just how many and how big! :drama:

As Kylie herself announced on Twitter earlier on, the spectacular live show will be filmed for a multimedia release in 3D in London on April 11th & 12th! Expect a DVD and blu-ray coming up later this year - we will keep you up to date about the release!
