Apparently it's for new X-Men movie soundtrack. Doesn't sound like a natural fit, but who cares!

Take That to unveil new single at Movie Awards

Take That will premiere new single 'Love Love' at the National Movie Awards next week, it has been confirmed.

It coincides with director Matthew Vaughn's decision to select the track for upcoming superhero movie X-Men: First Class.

In a statement, the band commented: "We're really happy to be asked back to perform at the National Movie Awards, it's always a great night.

"It'll be the first time that we perform our brand new song 'Love Love', so we're looking forward to getting out there and singing it live for everyone."

The National Movie Awards will be held next Wednesday at Wembley Arena in London, and also screened on ITV1 at the same time.

Gary Barlow confirmed for UK X Factor

Simon Cowell has confirmed that Take That star Gary Barlow will replace him on the UK 'X Factor'.

As he arrived yesterday for the first day of filming on the U.S version of the show with fellow judges Cheryl Cole, Paula Abdul and L.A Reid, Simon revealed that he will assume a less taxing role on the UK show.

Gary Barlow is expected to join Dannii Minogue and Louis Walsh on the judges' panel, although Cowell revealed that they have yet to sign contracts.

"Gary Barlow is the first person confirmed," said Cowell when quizzed about his former co-judges.

ITV bosses have now pushed back auditions until later this month and are working on dates which will allow Barlow to perform with Take That at their sell-out stadium tour, Progress Live, which is coming to Dublin's Croke Park.

Cowell also revealed why British TV host Steve Jones got the U.S. 'X Factor' role instead of Dermot O'Leary.

"There were a lot of decisions involved," he said. "The network got involved. I wanted him to stay on the British show. He's been there for years and the British show is a good gig."

The artwork for the new single. It's almost identical to the artwork for The Flood and surely this isn't part of the "Progress" era still? Why not change the artwork?

It's available for download from wednesday!

30 second clip of it here:

Still very much the "Progress" sound. I was expecting another "Rule The World" affair given the soppy title.
