Gary Barlow Confirms Robbie Has Left Take That Again Gary Barlow has confirmed that Take That are once again a four-piece, after Robbie Williams chose to leave the man band for the second time. The X Factor judge, who was joined by Williams at the Judges' Houses stage of the show, claims Take That's recent reunion "ended perfectly" and that they are now back as a foursome. Speaking to the Radio Times, Barlow explained: "Many fans say they prefer Take That as a foursome. The ultimate dream was to get us on tour. We managed to do that. It was beautiful." He continued: "Now Rob's doing a solo record and from this point it's back to where it was." When asked by the magazine whether Take That were once again a four-piece, Gary simply replied: "Yes." Despite admitting that Robbie has not rejoined the group for good, the 40-year old refused to rule out any future TT reunions, stating: "You know what, we can revisit it whenever we want." Barlow added: "He's our brother, Rob is, and if he wants to have a year off being Robbie Williams, he's welcome any time he wants," During their reunion, Gary, Robbie and the rest of the Take That lads are said to have made a cool £7million in just six months, earning the majority of the cash from their Progress tour. |

Gary Barlow to begin "big and dramatic" new Take That album in January Gary Barlow has spoken of plans to begin working on Take That's new album in 2014. Take That are expected to record their seventh studio album in January, followed by a release at Christmas. Barlow recently announced that he will leave The X Factor after this year's series in order to focus on his music career. "The main reason I've decided to step away from X Factor is to focus on Take That, definitely," he told The Mirror. "I see Take That as my main job, so it comes first. If the band are doing something then everything else moves to one side." He continued: "I haven't written any songs with Take That yet - we're literally going to start in January. "We'll get together and talk about what we're doing and where we are. We'll ask, 'What's happening in music, where shall we go from here?'" On the style of music they will record, he added: "We don't usually go too far from our own direction but it'll be big and dramatic - orchestral. "I think it'll be anticipated. By next Christmas it'll have been four years since our last record - we can't wait." It is not yet known whether Robbie Williams will join Barlow, Mark Owen, Jason Orange and Howard Donald for the album and subsequent tour. Both Barlow and Williams release solo studio albums in November. Read more: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/music/news/a531861/gary-barlow-to-begin-big-and-dramatic-new-take-that-album-in-january.html |

Gary Barlow has joked about his stint on former ITV drama series Heartbeat. The X Factor judge revealed that he used the same acting skills while shooting the video for 'Let Me Go'. Speaking on Lorraine, Barlow said: "I have to draw on my experience from Heartbeat in the '90s… I don't know why it was called Heartbeat because believe me, in my performance there wasn't a heartbeat, it was more like flatline." The Take That singer also spoke about the group's new studio album set for next year. "We're hoping to hit the studio in January and come with a new record, hopefully tour the year after," adding that the group will remain a four piece "at the moment". Barlow recently appeared in the first of a series of new Compare the Market adverts. His latest solo album Since I Saw You Last is due for release on November 25 and is currently available to preview. Take That are back! Gary Barlow reveals new album and tour are coming Good news for Take That fans - Gary Barlow has confirmed the reunited manband have recorded a new album, and hinted that a new tour will be announced soon. He told fans via his official Twitter page: “We have been working since the new year on a new Take That studio album. We are extremely excited about it! It has been 4 long years since the last one. It’s so nice to be back in the band!” He announced the news after apologising to fans over the tax avoidance scandal that engulfed he and other celebrities earlier this year. He said: “I want to apologise to anyone who was offended by the tax stories earlier this year. With a new team of accountants we are working to settle things with all parties involved ASAP.” News of the new album has inevitably set tongues wagging about a possible new tour with the band - although it looks like Robbie Williams will not be rejoining Gary, Mark Owen, Howard Donald and Jason Orange. Robbie famously first left the band in 1995 before they went on to split in 1996. He did not rejoin them for their big reunion in 2006, but made a comeback with the lads for their last studio album, Progress in 2010. He also toured with his bandmates on the record-breaking Progress Live tour, which included eight nights at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester in 2011. But he had revealed earlier this year that his own solo commitments and impending arrival of his second child meant that he would not be rejoining the band for their latest musical project. Gary revealed that the new album will have a “different” sound, and it is set to be released in time for the lucrative Christmas market. When asked by a fan when we will hear tour gossip, he replied: “soon, shhh”. Gary revealed the news as he made his return to Twitter on Tuesday night - after taking a break from the social media site when a hacker posted an offensive message on his account. He said: “I’ve had a break from twitter after someone hacked my account and some very upsetting and disturbing text was written. “Over the summer I’ve remembered that I have so many supporters, friends and fans on here so why let 1 person ruin all the fun.” He also wished his former X Factor employers all the best with the new show. http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/whats-on/take-back-gary-barlow-reveals-7712060 |
