"It would have outsold the whole of last week's top 40 (singles) four times over."

This kinda pisses me off. Firstly, people actually PAID for the songs on the top 40. Secondly, Violet Hill has been downloaded by people from all over the world, not just the UK. You're not THAT good, Coldplay! :Topaz:

Exactly. It was a ridiculous statement to make.

I still think OK Computer is rubbish. :files:

Every day I'm getting more excited about their new album, the songs we heard so far are very promising! :alexz:

It's the song you get for .99 when you pre-order the album.

I've read that it might be disqualifed from the official chart. I honestly don't think it should count. A song shouldn't count on the singles chart if it's only there because of people pre-ordering an *album*.

In the US iTunes, 4 Minutes was the song you got for .99 when you pre-ordered the album.

Well that it shouldn't have counted towards the actual single chart. It should only count if you've specifically bought the song itself.

People can only buy the song if they want.

But the promo banner for the album helps the song as well. There's no irregularities here.

*sigh*

I FULLY REALISE that people can buy the song by itself. My rather obvious POINT is that if someone pre-orders the album and gets the song, that sale should NOT count towards the official singles chart. The person didn't buy the song itself. They bought an ALBUM, not a SONG.

Wrong.

You pay the album once you download it, they just charge you .99 for the song that is available already.

Go to iTunes store and read it yourself, please.

You have utterly failed to comprehend my point. It's like banging my head against a brick wall. A stupid brick wall.

Nah, 'fraid not. It would appear that you simply just don't have the mental capacity to comprehend it.

Ah well.

You always do that, always, when someone starts arguing with you, he's stupid.

Maybe once in your lifetime you made a stupid "point".

Hey, I think you're being pretty stupid right now. I'll say so if I wish to. Deal with it.

You think I'm being stupid. Big deal.

Move on.
