Britney Gets Mind-Bendy And Trippy On New Album

Britney's experimenting different sounds on her new album, according to new reports.

OneRepublic frontman and song-writer, Ryan Tedder, tells E! News Britney's camp put together a writing camp in Dallas, Texas to pen for the seventh studio album.

"I know that 'Unusual You' off the last album has been tossed around like, 'Use this as kind of a jumping off point,'" said Tedder.

Producer Max Martin (Baby One More Time, If U Seek Amy) is currently considering a track Tedder produced with Dan Black.

"It's mind-bendy and trippy," Tedder said, adding, "I applaud the label for saying, 'We're not going to do what's always been done.' I think Britney's such an innovator. She needs to be in the forefront, you know what I mean? You can't come out with something sounding like someone else."

Who the hell is trying to feed the media this bullshit?! Unfortunately for them, nobody cares.

Britney Spears has a secret

Britney Spears has some sensitive information to hide and it’s not the fact that there’s no way these latest Candies pics were taken recently or outside of a virtual reality. TMZ reports:

Lawyers for Britney Spears’ conservatorship have made their move to keep confidential “critical information” about Britney and her children.
The information is so sensitive the lawyers note on the open market “The possibility of such enormous profits presents a substantial risk that Ms. Spears’ most confidential medical and personal information will be disclosed.”
So the attorneys want the sensitive info about Britney, Sean Preston and Jayden James sealed, and stat.

Is this about the time she covered her kids in BBQ sauce and tried to grill them? Because no one’s really going to be floored by that one. The only surprising information that could possibly come out of these medical reports is finding out Sean and Jayden are not only up-to-date on their vaccinations but were never once hospitalized after getting stuck in a chimney because “Mama wanted us to steal Santa’s sack of toys.”

Spears confirms album release date

Britney Spears has confirmed the release date of her forthcoming album.

The singer, who celebrates her 30th birthday today, revealed the news to fans via her Twitter page.

In a series of posts, she wrote: "Just wanted to thank all of you for the amazing birthday wishes you guys have been sending all day.

"My fans mean the world to me & waking up to all of your wishes really made me smile, so here's something that I hope will make you smile...

"I'm almost done with my new album and it will be coming out this March. I AM IN L-O-V-E WITH IT! Ok, off on a romantic weekend with Jason [Trawick] for my birthday (sic)."

Referring to reports that Trawick had supposedly hit her, she added: "PS - Star Magazine, Radar Online, Jason Alexander and the rest of you liars, Ya'll can kiss my lily white southern Louisiana ass!"

Plenty of people care. "3" surged to #1 on iTunes in a matter of hours and debuted at #1 on the Hot 100.

Even if the album tanks, initial interest will be big.

There's no interest in her dumb ass anymore.

Her 15 fans all purchased that stupid single at the same time. It's an easy #1, and in her 12 year "career", she's only managed 3 #1 singles. lulz! Rihanna is on her 7th in only 5 years.

Britney was just able to get by the last go around because people wanted to see the train wreck, and then post-train wreck, hoping to get a dose of craziness on her tour. They were sadly disappointed, and people were walking out by the truckloads.

She's an old fart now. Time to hitch it back to Louisiana with her brood of bastard children walking behind her.

I don't see what your point is.

if GaGa releases her new single in february, THEN the album will most likely follow up in march.

That was a zillion years ago, my dear.

It's much easier these days.

Mooriah gives her fans 99 cent coupons to buy her singles on iTunes on the very same day to ensure a #1.

Zitney should have had at least 10 #1s. She doesn't. She has a measly 3.

Britney Moo Cow's shelf life has expired. She will always have her 15 fans, but that's about it. She was Debbie Gibson and Tiffany of the 00s.

Her entire image was playing the "Lolita". Now that she's old, and popped out a few kids, she's no longer deemed "hot" anymore. She was never appreciated for talent, because she doesn't have any. She doesn't even choose what producers to work with. She does nothing. The industry is just going to start giving her songs to younger acts. She can't compete.

If she's lucky, she'll end up on some reality contest show, a la, Paula Abdul. That's IF she's lucky.

If Britney hits #1 in 2011, she'd be the youngest act to have a #1 in 3 different decades.

Mariah hasn't had a #1 since early 2008, and that only hit #1 because it was the lead single to a studio album that was the follow up to a smash album. Britney has had 2 since Mariah's last.

It's *NOT* much easier to get a Hot 100 #1 these days. Ever since the beginning of the SoundScan era Hot 100 #1s average many more weeks at #1 than they used to, meaning there are less yearly #1s.

Britney Spears has been inspired by underground UK music on her next record.

For her upcoming studio album - which Brit revealed this week will be released in March 2011 - she's teamed-up with some of the hottest UK producers, to give her latest songs a new sound.

The record will see productions by dubstep supremo Rusko, Labrinth and Chase & Status.

Rusko tells of their collaboration: "It's a bit random, but I'm so excited by the challenge. One track turned out amazing. It's proper hard dubstep."

Meanwhile, earlier this week, singer and songwriter Jessie J revealed that she has also worked with Spears on the project. "It's more British than you would expect but with the Britney swag," she shared. "People will be surprised. It could be the most amazing thing I've done."

Since she's never done anything amazing, that's not saying much.
