This video is so obviously merely going to be her standing in that contraption and her and the dancers convulsing in front of spotlights.

REVOLUTIONARY indeed.

William Orbit: Britney Spears is "likely to retire soon"...

Madonna’s producer William Orbit (‘Ray of Light’) has vented his frustrations on twitter about not making Britney Spears‘ new album ‘Femme Fatale’. He reveals he was “slightly dissapointed not to be on her album”, but even that might be an underestimation! Orbit even went on to say she’s “likely to retire soon” because she’s not “that into it” anymore. He also stated that he was “so pissed” at not making the new Color Me Badd album and went on to call Cher Lloyd “untalented”. A venting marathon to say the least!

We’ve all been thinking it but as a producer who is widely known, speaking about Britney’s state of mind is just not that professional on his behalf. We can understand his upset that her album will consist of multiple Dr Luke tracks and none of his own work being featured. However, sometimes you just have to suck it up and look to your next big gig, because that’s what a confident producer does!

Are you serious?

This is William f*cking Orbit we're talking about. He only produced one of your favourite albums of last year.

The guy has more talent in one of his eyebrows than Britney Spears has in her entire white-trash body.

 uhm, you can't compare the two. Again, apples to oranges. Katie's and Britney's musical style are ridiculously different.

Orbit's work worked perfectly for 'The House', the live instruments, guitars, the SLOW tempo, the melancholic production. And the few faster tracks he produced were not innovative or fresh enough in the least. When it comes to the mainstream, edgy DANCE music brutney's trying to make for this record, I don't think he could have delivered.

That's not the kind of music he makes and I doubt he was ever hired to supply "edgy dance tracks" for her. To hear you suddenly talk shit about him after you raved about Melua's album only last year is astonishing.

The man doesn't make "trendy" music. Just because his production style doesn't sound like something Ke$ha would record, doesn't mean he isn't still a brilliant musician and producer.

And for the record, I don't think he should have said what he said either. It seems very unlike him and unprofessional, but that takes nothing away from his stunning work on albums by Melua, Madonna, Blur, All Saints etc.

once again, you're taking my words out of context. i loved Melua's album but i stand by my words:

when it comes to PUSHING THE BOUNDARIES OF MAINSTREAM DANCE MUSIC, "he has NO new tricks to offer. and... his work sounds dated"

Britney Spears has confirmed details of her music video premiere.

The singer, whose latest single is called 'Hold It Against Me', will officially unveil the accompanying clip on Thursday at 21:56pm EST (Friday, 2:56am GMT) on her official Vevo YouTube channel.

Spears has released a number of behind-the-scenes teasers in the build up to the video's premiere, which have included the star a red outfit surrounded by microphones, backed by a number of dancers and in a fighting scene.

Updating fans on the progress of editing the promo, the 29-year-old tweeted: "I just saw a new cut of HIAM and I'm really feeling it. I think you guys are going to love it."

'Hold It Against Me' has already topped the US singles chart and has so far peaked at number six in the UK.

People want to see the GaGa video, not Britney's, which we feel we've already seen, what with releasing 87 teasers for it over the past week.
