yeah I've seen her live
her music is still not good enough and she's been around for ten years, time to grow up...
How are either of those two songs "Avril Lavigne wannabe angry rock?"
Dear Mr President was one of those dreadful oh we're so politically aware songs from the anti Bush bandwagon... most of her major singles fall in angry Lavagina (So What, U and Ur Hand, Just Like A Pill) or cheesy tearjerker ballad (Who Knew, I Don't Believe You, Family Portrait) category... She needs to move on!
I totally agree. Her music is very juvenile or teen-angsty. She literally can't do any other kind of song and it's been that way since she first came on the scene.

I don't know what medication they have her on (TickTock can probably tell us) but she's half-asleep during that entire interview (not to mention performances). Just leave the poor girl alone.
I agree we've bashed her enough. As long as her final output is good, i couldn't care less about anything else. And her album is good enough. :D
It's just obvious she's unwell. I agree she shouldn't be doing the popstar thing but I imagine she's under huge amounts of pressure from everyone around her. It's just sad at this point.
It's vaguely disturbing to witness. They're either putting pressure on her for the business side of things, or else they feel that maybe she's better off being made to work and have a routine, instead of lounging around at home doing God knows what and losing interest in life. Maybe it's better that they force her to keep working. I dunno. It's quite sad either way.

She shouldn't tour unless her heart is really in it. The girl has made a shitload of money over the past dozen years that she should just do what she wants at her own pace because it isn't like she's hurting for $$$. Circus proved she still has an audience waiting whenever she's ready to come back. Maybe in recent years Gaga, Katy and Rihanna have really started to take over and dominate but Britney can release an album of fart and burp noises and she'll still sell more than Christina.

You are extremely underestimating most of those songs.

And what exactly is she supposed to move on to? Ke$ha club songs? Beyonce ghetto diva songs? Madonna 50 year old pussy popping songs?
she keeps singing Janis Joplin songs on her concerts... and she does it really well, so some sort of blues rock would seem like a natural progress...

ROFL, Suedey is that you? (since he said Lady Gaga is over because HE doesn't care for "Born This Way"). Christina over yes, but Femme Fatale is set to open with more than what Bionic sold total in the US, so I wouldn't say she's completely finished yet. If anything, more of a Mariah type of artist who is much bigger in the US.

Don't bother. Reality doesn't really figure into the equation with that certain poster.

Britney’s ‘Femme Fatale’ Bombs In UK

Britney Spears‘ latest album ‘Femme Fatale’ may be on course to hit #1 on the US charts, however British record-buyers aren’t as interested – if the record’s UK sales figures are anything to go by.

For, much like the 29 year old’s performances as of late, final figures for ‘Fatale’ on this side of the pond are both limp and lifeless.

Despite much label backing, Spears’ 7th studio album could only manage a lowly #8 debut on the Official UK Top 40 Albums Chart. The singer’s last effort, 2008’s ‘Circus’, bowed at #4 with opening week sales of 76,000. Meanwhile, Tesco’s Mary Byrne – of X-Factor fame- saw her debut ‘Mine & Yours’ open at #6. Above Britney.

As such, ‘Fatale’ becomes the Spears’ lowest-charting studio album in the UK since ‘In the Zone’, which peaked at #13 in December 2003. What’s more, with sales between 27,000 – 30,000, it also serves as her lowest first week British sales to-date.

And yet while some may argue the mother of 2 to usually go on to sell solid numbers, there are two key variables today which weren’t so much the case in the above-such instances. They first is the fact that albums actually sold back then (pre/early download era); with the second being that during neither period was the public critique of Spears’ ability to deliver as an artist and performer as intense as it is now.

Though I do believe fans had two weeks to download album in full and in flac even, so that could be some reason. There were much anticipation... None of us resisted. As I know US is not that much brave with searchg on torrents, so the numbers could be higher...

She looked like she was high on medicine in the documentary, the part where she talks about her childhood.

So classic 90's feeling, love it!!!! a lot!!!!

But way too late so save a song. I'm so... with all this videos coming out when the song is over already. Very stupid marketing policy.

It's like going to a party wearing a robe and change in taxi going home

Love it!!! And I totally agree. These days, videos should arrive no more than 2 or 3 weeks after a song premieres, ESPECIALLY with an act like Britney who enters high and then rapidly falls.

what is the point of releasing a video when the single has already entered the charts then dropped like a stone everywhere?

I suppose it might help to flog the album.
