what is the point of releasing a video when the single has already entered the charts then dropped like a stone everywhere?
I suppose it might help to flog the album.
Finally I got the answer! You're right, this is the big reason; and tour promotion also. So there's no idea in supporting actual single at all.

oh the drama :lol2:

she may be a manufactured pop brand of no personal artistic merit whatsoever, yet she's far, very far from being over. she is a global megastar and a household name that will always captivate public attention regardless of the number of records she sells-and for the time being, she still sells LOTS of those babies, both in physical and digital form. the first single smashed all previous records on itunes all over the world -even though shadowed by gaga shortly thereafter- and the new one is faring quite ok-ish in all major markets bar the uk. as for ff, well it's her first studio album released in the first half of a calendar year in a decade and nearing 300k is hardly a flop opening. it will probably sell as much as blackout did, maybe even more, depending on the push it gets by future singles.

oh, and she's ridiculously bigger than usher would ever dream to be.

Subject: A lot of you fuckers didnt buy the album!!

Ironically the ones that complain the most, and the ones that make Exhale a living hell, I can not belive you just stay with your illegal download  , now FF has low sales, and this time Britney is promoting, not like ITZ, but this is the best since 2006.

Damn you!

It's fucking disappointing! Then there's people like me and others who try to pick up your slack by buying at least 2 copies. (For me 5). YOU"RE RIDICULOUS! Couldn't even buy 1 to support B??

It didn't flop but I bought 6 copies... I wish I had bought more the first week :(

7 COPIES
AND BITCH WITHOUT BRITNEY MY LIFE=ZERO

Subject: We let Britney down, big time guys!!!

She did her job. Delivers an awesome music, do promotion (not alot but still...) and see what she got at the final. This is her 1st album debut with this low number, even with Blackout, those number still higher than this.

Bad, bad fans ever...:( Poor Britney, guess she really disapointed at us alot.

Her fans wrote this. They're making up categories to make themselves feel better.

Here, I'll create one: The Youngest Crazy Person In History to Have a #1 Album in Three Decades

My favorites:

"•The Female Artist with Most #1 Albums This Millennium"

Uh, we're only 10 years in, hons. Madonna's only one short of her.

"•The Third Female Artist with Most #1 Albums:"

Disingenuous. She shares that with two other women.
