From Popjustice.com:

Here is the news on the new Britney Spears album:

1. It's definitely ("in the sense of 95% definitely") coming this year.

2. Which is to say that it's not now due in February.

3. The single will be out at the end of November.

4. The album will be out in December.

5. She's likely to be performing international promo duties.

It is official because someone from the label told us.

The End.

Yeah, the other albums had 1 or 2 decent tracks at most, the rest being a load of shite. Blackout was a huge leap.

Blackout was amazing. Not exactly pleased it going to be 'more urban' though

But well orchestrated Team Britney

Britney is a fat has-been cow. Let it come out and get it over with. Too bad those kids were given up by their mother. Fucking skank.

As a person, I think she's a disaster and a complete skank. But I'll be looking forward to hearing what music she(i.e. the writers and producers) comes up with.

It's hilarious how boring she is. They'll just morph her voice with computers. She's Jennifer Hopez.

Blackout has a killer first single but when you listen to it as a whole it's too much noisy. Maybe i'm too old.

I loved "Gimmie More", "Piece of Me", and "Heaven on Earth" from the last album.

The fact that there were three songs on a Britney album that I liked is a huge deal for me!

Blackout pisses all over Hard Cheese. It's by far Britney's best work. She may be a complete skank, but she's got some real pop gems to her name.

Not that she has anything to do with them though. She's wheeled into the studio, utters one syllable into the mic and is then wheeled back out. With that one syllable, the team of talented writers, producers and recording engineers actually form an album.

I'd still prefer HC by the way.

Oh, in terms of being an album, I'd go for "Hard Candy" all the way. "Blackout" has many more clunkers than Madge's effort.

at least she and her team know what they're doing by rushing the album's release just in time for the christmas season. that's the safest way to secure some decent sales-u hear that, madge?

in regards to the blackout/hard candy comparison, i insist that brit brit is yet to release an album superior to any madonna album. hard candy may be disappointing for madonna's standards, still it shits all over blackout.
