even if it debuted at #1, Discipline is falling like a rock in America. I like the album and would see her if she toured. But... how many weeks before this planned tour is scrapped?

:manson: Tranet is thinking of going on tour? What size venues are they?

Yeah yeah yeah she's tanking. After 3 albums what are we even expecting anymore? She's over as a relevent hit maker, so just concentrate on the good music.

The album is her best in a decade and it seems like she's honest to goodness going on tour this time.

I think from her next album on "A Janet Sized Flop" will be as irrelevent as say a "Tori Amos Sized Flop." Nobody even expects the numbers anymore.

Well I agree with all of that except for the "just concentrate on the good music".

Come on, it's not exactly the best music of her career is it? The album was still mostly wank. Definitely her best in a decade, but that's really not saying much.

It's not wank. It really isn't.

I said "mostly wank".

And yes, it really is.

I don't think it is. I'd say the album is mostly good with some wank thrown in (Never Letchu Go, The 1, Discipline)... but overall it's good. Can't B Good is one of her best songs ever in my book as well.

It's weak music. So insipid and forgettable.

This isn't great music. "Hard Candy" literally DUMPS all over it, and it's not even one of M's strongest.

Again... I disagree. It's not innovative or anything but it's a solid pop/R&B album.
