johnny sweetie, u're probably not aware of my stance over this issue.

i have no problem with fat stuck into normal people's bodies, but there's no way i'm putting a stop commenting on any pop stars that add extra weight to their figures

adele's lovely but she really has to give up her spaghetti marathons.

Then there's really no difference between Adele and Lady GorgeGorge.

Really? I'd say there's at least 5 stones difference. :basil:

Can I direct the jury towards the comment from Mr Wide not three weeks backs, as posted below...

Well you know what, I think it kind of does actually. It just seems a bit icky now. In my "defense", I will say though, that even when I did poke fun at Mimi or Xtina etc for gaining a few lbs, I never *truly* meant it. I never thought they were hideous or vile or anything like that. But yeah...it maybe it isn't really right to do it, even in jest.

Hmm.

I can't really stick to that I'm afraid. What's funny to me is funny to me. I'm sure Adele can handle it. It's just some silly jokes and nothing malicious is intended. I think it would be awful if we couldn't make the odd amusing remark about a popstar who will never even see them.

Adele has given birth to a baby boy. "Adele and Simon Konecki are ecstatic at their new arrival," says a friend.

She should achieve Montserrat Caballe weight for her voice to get high notes in full force. They are still not that strong..

First 19, then 21... now nine months: Adele's new album to feature baby songs

The singer’s third release will be in stark contrast to the previous two which were about heartache and disastrous relationships

New mum Adele will celebrate the joys of pregnancy and motherhood on her next album, pals say.

The singer’s third release will be in stark contrast to the previous two – named 19 and 21 – which centred on her experiences of heartache and disastrous relationships.

Adele, 24, and charity boss boyfriend Simon Konecki, 38, are said to be overjoyed after she gave birth to a boy on Friday.

And US-based collaborator Dan Wilson said: “She’s never been happier. We have exchanged a couple of emails. Adele is in a good place. I am concentrating on writing as many songs as I can.”

The superstar, who wrote and performed the theme for new James Bond movie Skyfall, had been working on her new record at her Brighton home while chatting to her LA-based partners online via Skype – and is now expected to release the material next year.

She told friends: “I really want to release a happy record now. I have never been happier. I have written some stuff and I will release it when I’m ready.”

An LA pal added: “Adele has been working for the last few months. The Bond theme was not the only thing she has written.

“Her music is based around how happy she has been with Simon and the changes that come from being a mother.

“She has quite a few tunes and people are going to be surprised by the new sound, it’s incredible."

“Talk about her disappearing for years is nonsense. She will be caring for her son until Christmas but it is her intention to have some mixes finished and prepped for an album as early as next autumn.”

"Skyfall" on the Billboard Hot 100 thus far:

8-13-45-52

"Die Another Day" spent two weeks at #8 and another two at #10 and peaked at #4 at Pop radio while "Skyfall" peaked, and is struggling to stay, in the very bottom of the Top 40. For all the shit people talk about "Die Another Day" that song is still the only Bond theme of the last 25 years to be an actual hit in the US.

Curious! Yeah, I'm surprised it hasn't been a bigger hit, especially given that it's not available on any soundtrack album.

doesn't change the fact that it still is one of the best Bond themes ever.

I just wish the song went where the bridge made it sound like it was going. It just fizzles out; no big finish, only a few seconds of vocal acrobatics, that's it.
