You say people don't care for her anymore. If that were true "Ghosttown" wouldn't be getting the ecstatic reactions from everyone in the crowd when she performs it on tour, and not just the stans in costume on the floor, that is has been. "Bitch I'm Madonna" wouldn't be pushing 140 million views for it's main upload on YouTube, despite not being sent to a single radio format for adds and getting only one televised performance weeks before the video release. And before you mention it, the like/dislike ratio has improved dramatically since the lambs and little monsters of the internet rushed in to dislike it.

As I've said here before, the last solo single by an act over 50 to make the Top 10 of the Hot 100, let alone #1, was Cher's "Believe" in 1999. 16 years ago, and that was the epitome of a fluke. Madonna isn't hated by everyone, and songs like "Ghosttown" decimate anything Top 40 is currently obsessing over in every artistic and talent-related metric. She's simply a 33 year veteran in the most youth obsessed industry on the planet.
By 'people' I mean the general public, not her fans. And 'Bitch I'm Madonna" has 140 million views for all the wrong reasons, I'm afraid.

The market has changed, music culture too. And yes, ageism is very much alive. I do enjoy HC for what it is though, it's strongest work since Confessions.

The increasing likes ratio begs to differ about the all the wrong reasons thing, and let's not forget the song re-entering the iTunes Top 100 after the Fallon performance. And once again, the general public isn't going to actively care about product that they're not exposed too.

Entered the top 100 for what, a day or two? How many copies did it sell and how high did it chart? How can any Madonna fan take this "accomplishment" seriously? C'mon now.

Are you purposely missing the point? You say people hate the song, well then why did it rechart just from a performance on a late night TV show that doesn't even get 3 million viewers? Imagine if radio had actually played it.

Adele will perform songs from new album 25 for the first time on a one-hour BBC special with Graham Norton

Adele's third album 25 is released on November 20 but you may not have to wait that long to hear her new songs.

The singer-songwriter will perform tracks from the record alongside songs from her first two albums on a one-hour Adele at the BBC special hosted by Graham Norton, which will be recorded on November 2.

Adele said: "I can't wait for the show. The BBC has been wonderful to me over the years and Graham and I get on great so it's going to be a laugh."

Norton added: "This is the music event of the year and I'm thrilled to be part of bringing it to BBC One.

"This opportunity to spend an hour with Adele, her music and her stories is a truly rare treat. If I wasn't hosting this special I'd be sat at home watching it!"

Adele will perform with her live band and will also be interviewed by Norton for the show.

It will be Adele's first TV performance since she sung the Academy Award-winning Bond theme 'Skyfall' at the 2013 Oscars.

Tickets will be available via an audience ballot and registration is open now until midnight tomorrow (Wednesday, October 28).

Adele returned last week with comeback track 'Hello'.

The song will likely be the fastest-selling single of the year and its Xavier Dolan-directed video has already amassed tens of millions of views on Vevo and YouTube.

Either way, we can lay the 'what if's and 'if only's down to rest... radio will never play her, for one reason or another.

Last time I was here he hated her voice.

It's really hard to be objective about her new music when you know that every touchy queen on facebook will over-post that stuff to death, during every romantic meltdown...
But that has got absolutely nothing to do with the quality, or otherwise, of the song.

Can't you just enjoy it or not, without wondering how many people will post it on Facebook in the future? Very odd criteria for judging a song.
O.k.
Not the best year to get Adele as a singer.
Her Born This Way is here. (Best ever sales upon less material).

I loved her voice. Now what I loved has gone.

THE ONE & ONLY: The launch of the less-is-more marketing campaign for Adele’s Nov. 20 album, 25—formulated by the artist, Columbia chief Rob Stringer and manager Jonathan Dickins—was a model of economy and efficiency, from the brilliantly minimalist 30-second spot that appeared out of the blue during The X Factor in the U.K. through the midweek surgical strikes on social media to the arrival of the album preorder and the lead single “Hello” on Friday. Following this series of calculated moves, the album immediately shot to #1 in country after country, while the single will sell north of 1m in its first week, obliterating the previous record. The reigning Queen of Pop won’t be ever-present leading up to 25’s release in the Taylor Swift manner; Adele’s appearances will continue to be highly select and strategic, befitting her enigmatic persona, just as Swift’s ubiquitousness around her releases is a reflection of her effervescent personality. In a lockout deal with NBC, she’ll appear on Today and Fallon on dates TBA and SNL on Nov. 21, while a Nov. 17 performance at Radio City Music Hall will be taped for a prime-time special airing during Thanksgiving week, according to inside sources. The Grammys on CBS next February will be the lone excep

You think? Just wait.
Seriously, I'm thinking this song is very subpar. Everyone's loving it just cause of the previous success.
My opinion.

If it's the best on the album, I feel very suspicious

Oh get a grip. Because you don't like it, nobody else is allowed to like it? Has it ever crossed your mind that many people are genuinely enjoying the song? I think it's gorgeous. It's clear that many others do too. You're entitled to your own opinion, but you're coming across like an idiot by dismissing the opinions of millions of people across the world who simply happen to think it's a good song.

Kworb is projecting "Hello" to sell 1.2 million downloads in the US its first week, nearly double the all time record.

It's also blocking Beaver's latest atrocity from a #1 Hot 100 debut. Saint Adele.
