He still is not officially a paedophile? Whatever happened to not guilty until the opposite is proven?

Good on him for selling out so many tickets. People realize that if they ever want to see the King of Pop live, now is the time.

Does anyone else find it a little disturbing that so many people are willing to line the pockets of a paedophile?

I used to think it was just idiotic, naive Americans who ignored his vile behaviour, but it seems that many Europeans are just as blind, or willing to overlook child abuse, all because the guy made some good music years ago?

Wow.
actually, it's been the reverse. MJ has ignored the US since the early 90's on tour because of the intense media backlash he had over the allegations, whereas it seemed like that never really hurt him in Europe. I know HIStory was much bigger there than it was stateside where You Are Not Alone and Scream were the only real hits off it. Earth Song got a few plays on MTV, They Don't Care About Us had a little controversy and charted in the 30's and Stranger In Moscow peaked in the 90's here. Yet in the UK, HIStory was just another hit-laden MJ blockbuster.

I like HIStory more than Dangerous myself and own the vinyl of it (I found it for $15 or so a few months back in a used bin and snatched it without hesitation), I always thought the fact that you had to pay twice the price to get the new songs hurt the album, considering pretty much every MJ fan in the free world already owned OTW, Thriller, Bad and Dangerous. It would've worked better as a standalone album and I also think critics would've been kinder to it. New material is always going to pale when on the other disc you have Billie Jean and Rock With You.

Yes, that's true. It was a gamble that didn't really pay off in the end. I never really understood why they didn't just release HIStory and then waited and put the Greatest Hits out with the new tracks he did anyway for Blood On The Dancefloor. What a HUGE mistake that was.

yea I agree. BOTDF as a bonus disc to a GH album I think would've gone over better.

You all don't get it, nobody is going for the music or him

everyone is going because the chances he might die or at least loose on organ on stage are sky high!

I mean for the 1 million people that are going, the chances are 1 to 50 that they actually will see it

It isn't the Europeans, it's the Brits, who will never in a million years call themselves European.

Michael Jackson stands no chance of ever doing this in America. America was over him 17 years ago, and the hate his immense.

Whoever came up with this idea is brilliant. His diehard fans will gladly flock to the UK to see his ass.

He was never found guilty of being a child abuser, but anyone with even a semblance of a brain knows he did it. Even OJ fucking Simpson was cleared of murder.

Get a grip.

Respect people who have different views from you. I don't find offensive to see Michael Jackson playing music. It would be offensive if i payed to see him playing with children. Oh, it would be horrible, hahaha
So because the guy made some nice songs, you can totally ignore the fact that he abused children?

Fucking hell. :manson:

I don't think he abused children, i think he has a disturbing mind and likes to be near them, very simmilar to Lewis Carroll and that doesn't stop me to love Alice in Wonderland. I don't think he's sane, but i don't think he ever touched children sexually.

Hmm. I wonder if we'll ever have conclusive proof.

I think he had the children in bed, but to tell them stories and laugh and all that, as if he was part of the children. That's what he told in the docu and why they made a second trial to him. And they could never proove that he made anything sexual to them. Of course i may be wrong, but i don't think he got near Macualy or those Kriss Kross dudes to touch them, but to feel part of them.

Interesting how it doesn't disturb Henz who has been known to police forums with his Pea-dar

;)
