Publishers HarperCollins have revealed that former Wham! singer George Michael has signed a deal to produce an "access-all-areas" account of his life.
The deal, which HarperCollins described as one of the "biggest ever" in UK publishing, will reportedly be "no-holds-barred", and written entirely by the popstar.
"George has promised HarperCollins a no-holds-barred biography, and it's certain to be just that," said Michael's manager Andy Stephens.
"People aren't stupid, they're beginning to notice that the truth is more interesting than the stories the press come up with."
A spokesperson for HarperCollins said: "This is an incredibly exciting publishing event. George is one of the best-known and best-loved pop singers in the world, with an extraordinary story to tell.
"I am particularly thrilled by this deal, as I have long been a fan of George's. Most importantly, this really will be a truly authentic book - and an exceptional one, as he's going to be writing it entirely himself."

Forgive me for not being excited, but I paid money and read his first "no-holds barred" autobriography. And time has proven that to be one big fucking half-truth.

You won't be getting anymore of my pennies, Georgette.

His first was called Bare, and I think it came out in the mid-80s. It was written by a Smash Hits journalist along with george.

And a lot has happened since!

I will be buying it, although i think he's launch into tabloud slagging a little bit too much.

It came out in 1991, and was co-written with Tony Parsons.

Yes, a lot has happened even since 1991, but a lot had happened before then that he chose to leave out, despite the claims at the time of "searing honesty".

You can lend me your copy when you're finished.

actually I can see why after investing in the first one you wouldnt want the second one as I;m sure the first, in retrospect, must be littered with lies.

Autobiographies are generally a total waste of money as the writers are hardly neutral observers.

I disagree..... I would rather read an auto than a biog ... of course they will be biased, but I'd rather have fact than speculation.
