My favourite Sam Fox story never gets old.

It seemed like such a touching tribute: Serbia was ready to build a statue of Samantha Fox simply because she'd agreed to sing there (and they'd even decided on super-high-quality marble for her breasts).

But when Sam sang in the town of Cacak this week, she stormed off stage when they began a chant about wanting to see her breasts. Sam then ditched a ministerial dinner in her honor, and the ministers have now ditched plans for her memorial statue. Serbian media have taken a bit of fence-sitting attitude, but admitted this: Local media said the hall she had played in had been only half full and the audience had made it clear they were not there to hear her sing.
:lol2:
OMG I remember that story :lmao:
She was performing at like the most awful award show in that small town, not even local 'stars' were attending :chuckle:

She was great. Her dancing, stage presence and vocals were outstanding. On the downside, the costumes were awful, the sets almost non-existent and there was little or no creativity involved. It's a standard diva show, but has none of the imagination or sophistication that you'd see in a Madonna show.

Tina Knowles filed divorce papers in Harris County, Texas last month, in an attempt to end their almost 31-year marriage. In the documents, it says Tina and Matthew "ceased to live together as husband and wife on or about January 5, 2009" -- the exact day of their 30th wedding anniversary.

Back in October, Mathew was hit with a paternity lawsuit from a woman who's not his wife -- no word if that affected Tina's decision to pull the plug.

Mathew has been Beyonce's manager for years, so there could be a ton of cash up for grabs in the split.

The couple has two children together: Beyonce and Beyonce's younger sister.

To be honest, Matthew Knowles always reminded me a bit too much of Joe Jackson. :scared:

Leading Grammy contenders Beyonce, Black Eyed Peas and Taylor Swift will be among the performers at the awards early next year.

Nominations have already been announced, with Beyonce vying for 10 awards while Swift is up for eight.

R&B singer Maxwell and country group Lady Antebellum, who are up for six and two awards respectively, have also been added to the bill.

Winners will be announced on 31 January at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Additional performers and presenters will be announced at a later date.

The nominations were read out earlier this month by rap star LL Cool J.

British acts Depeche Mode, Coldplay and singer-songwriter Imogen Heap picked up two nods each, while The Tings Tings have been nominated for best new act.

Earlier this year Led Zeppelin's frontman Robert Plant was the big winner, taking home five prizes for his collaboration with bluegrass singer Alison Krauss.

Coldplay, Adele, Duffy, Radiohead and Peter Gabriel were among other UK stars to see success.

Beyonce to sing at Grammy awards

This is no news, it would be news if there was an award show where she won't be singing
