She performed it last night and it was DIRE. It's a mess with crap production, no hook, no melody. I think it's one of the worst things she's ever done.

I'll admit that I have NEVER liked her, but that 1+1 thing was just noise.

Truthfully Beyonce's always been hype over substance, but in the past at least she delivered decent r&b and pop songs. These songs sound like she's just pulling songs out of her ass and expecting a hit because she hadn't fucked up yet in the past decade and change since Destiny's Child took off.

A real shame Kelly Rowland's career never amounted to anything stateside and her album has had more delays than the J. Lo album did, when I think she's probably the more talented of the two, she just doesn't have Beyonce's sex appeal or a dad who is the Svengali mastermind.

If this one doesn't take off, that'll be three steaming turds in a row from Bee. It's funny, but also quite disappointing. I know her albums have been patchy, but they were definitely getting better, and the singles were almost always very good up to now. Such a shame.

This really is astonishing. Yet *another* utterly lacklustre song. I mean I literally can't believe what is happening with Bee. She used to have such fantastic singles. This is just tripe. B-side or album filler at very best.

WTF is going on with her???

To me, it sounds like this album's attempt at Irreplaceable.

FAIL

That's definitely what it's trying to be, but the melody is so, so weak.

Beyoncé: 'I need to push musical limits'

Beyoncé has revealed that she feels that it is her duty to push boundaries within the modern music industry.

The 29-year-old star is currently preparing to release her fourth studio album 4 on June 27 in the UK and June 28 in the US, and has now admitted that she feels the pressure to "constantly evolve" her sound.

Speaking about the lead single from the album, 'Run The World (Girls)', Beyoncé told Billboard: "It's exciting to have bridges and bounce... and not the same beat looped over and over again. It's definitely riskier than something a bit... more simple.

"But I feel like my job in the industry is to push the limits and I feel like I have to constantly evolve. I can never be safe."

The singer continued to elaborate that she finds it challenging to create a universal sound that a broad range of people can enjoy.

"It's hard to create a new-sounding up-tempo [song] that people are going to love, not only in America but around the world, or for different ages. One thing I've always stood for is making people feel good."

Beyoncé will headline the Glastonbury music festival later this month.

meaning... if I put a pretentious spin on my shitty music, when it flops, we can just say they're not smart enough to understand what I'm doing.
