I read this elsewhere:

"What the Water Gave Me is premiering and going to iTunes straight after apparently."

The album can now be pre-ordered on HMV with a November 7th release date.

Not doing a whole lot for me. It sounds like one of the weaker tracks from "Lungs". Perhaps it's a grower.

It's better than "What The Water Gave Me", which in my opinion was hugely mediocre, but it's still no great shakes. It's fine, but I think she's massively overrated.

i'm right on board for the proper single, what a vast improvement on the previous buzz album track. it's catchy and immediate, should do the business for the album launch, at least.

Yeah, at least it has a decent melody...but I can't help but feel it's the same as the singles from the first album, only not as good.

I love this comment from a Guardian reader on their website:

Not another album by the Tesco Extra Kate Bush. Dear god, please please make her go away.

I was pleasantly surprised by What The Water Gave Me

I thought, from the successes of their first album, she would go rather weak and overproduced (rather than the organic sound of Water, possibly with another rent-a-rapper *yuck*)

I will look forward to hearing what else might be on the album

I had a quick listen to the album, I have liked what I heard.

They could have gone very mainstream after the popularity of the Brit Awards things with rent-a-rapper. but have stuck more to their roots :)

The one thing I find difficult to like sometimes is her vocal. She seems very uncontrolled and whailing, rather than have any emotional attachment to the words she is singing a lot of the time.

So far I'm loving it. Far more consistent than "Lungs". The only quibble I have is that it could have done with some variety. I know the songs aren't all the same, but they all *sound* the same. A couple of quiet tracks would've been welcome.
