WTF? There's are NO VERSES, just rapping? It's like she's featuring on someone else's track.

Massive disappointment. The chorus is strong, but that's literally all there is to it. She's reduced to a "ft." on her own fucking lead single.

Only Mariah. :lmao:

Why did she need these people on there? She is just a featured guest star. How odd.

It literally sounds like EVERY OTHER Jermaine Dupri song she has ever made.

You know, when I'm on the mediterranean islands, I always checking out the black clubs. They are the best. This song reminded me of that. Loved to dance to this music 4-5 years ago.

Is it still here with us? I haven't been to those clubs lately.

I miss it. But I'm sure they won't play this song.
Nostalgia.

Lovely crap.

I love the production, very traditional hip-hop/R&B yet with a modern twist (drum'n'bass feel), and very dramatic. Her verse is indeed very pretty. Voice sounds on top form. But why the hell isn't she singing more ? So weird a choice ....
Loving the usual arrangement with her voice singing both in low and high register at the same time in the chorus. Very catchy.

I feel so nostalgic, can't stop this song :) It's good even without verses for what it is.
Feel so black-self now.

They were what, all turned euro-disco? Maybe she's channeling their inner smth?

Yes, the production for this song is just superb, i even like the rap production, a LOT.

Didn't feel drum'n'base..

It is a little grower. I just need to see would it turn into the garbage tomorrow.. Addicted to this now.

I do really like it, but I'm still very disappointed that she only sings the chorus. I think that's inexcusable on YOUR OWN FUCKING SONG.

No, she's being a black bitch (no blacks on this forum? cause I love you).

This all flowing with rap so seamlessly, i have to give it 8/10.
Even with all the old crap/rap song has.

I see it as a 2003 hit which I don't hate. And I'm there with it!

BTW we know, that there will be NO RAP VERSION for the white ones. Don't think it'll be better, but it'll be :) if she had her own verses better than this rap... She has not.

It's kinda her best first single chorus melody in ten years. We have to give her that.

Put the rappers in the middle, sing the rest. I hope critics point this out.

At some parts of the song, the sonic background of the production is really really bass-ish, especially the 2nd rap. It reminds me of Kanye West last songs.

What's good too is that it's uplifting, yet never cheesy. It's very solemn. Giving me "Migrate" vibes.

A bit of a missed opportunity, but she did a good job on the studio, it's promising for the upcoming album and the dance remixes with re-sung vocals she promised.

I hope they *are* dance remixes and not just hip-hop mixes.

oh good old mimi, pretending we're still living in 2004.

that said, the chorus is just lovely. and u know what, this song could make a difference in an rnb scene whose biggest stars are turning to calvin harris, max martin and guetta to get a crossover hit.

bitch is back and retro black :drama:

and i love the fact she's snubbed the verses. she's a DIVA, mind u, she's entitled to build anticipation for her top notch vocal performance and let those rappers do the hard job in between. GENIUS
