Actually I am wondering why she isn't bigger. Apart from my rather minor quibble about her stage presence, her songs and videos are of extraordinary quality and she straddles the line between classy yet pop friendly quite well. Is it her own choice? I mean I never see her around. She does the odd performance on late night shows but doesn't do 'events', doesn't do award shows, doesn't do interviews. I really think she deserves to be bigger.

she's big enough in the uk and the european continent. she's not selling millions, but then her music's not exactly targeting the masses that adore anything adele puts her name on. anyone knows how the album has fared in america?

Her music is classy enough for the older crowd but she's still 'hip' enough for the pop crowd. She's a pretty girl, her songs are endlessly re-listenable and her music videos are GORGEOUS. I saw all of them in a row yesterday and they are really special, they really stand out from everything else that's out there. I still find her album a little samey but it's odd that she hasn't been pushed harder, unless she doesn't want to.

I honestly think that she's "too good" to be bigger. The songs are way too downbeat, elegant and restrained to get the airplay that's required to have big hit singles. Without that, it's hard to sell large amounts of albums. She's actually done really well considering!

She has actually sold millions. 2.8 million copies of the album have been sold worldwide so far! In this day and age, that's pretty impressive.

Just RIIIIIIIIDE... I'm obsessed with this song+video. And to think it's the same director who did Starships for that vile clown Nicki Minaj. Unbelievable.

I can't stop watching the Ride video. Yes, still. Thank you Lana for filling the Gaga video gap.

I repeat her monologues while wistfully looking out the window with a single tear streaming down my face.

Speaking of which, is there a good audio rip out there of the monologue and video version?
