Not impressed with her vocals live at all. She sounds strained and exhausted

Lana Del Rey 'Saturday Night Live' debut slammed by Juliette Lewis

Juliette Lewis has criticised Lana Del Rey following her appearance on Saturday Night Live.

The singer made her debut on the comedy show - hosted by Daniel Radcliffe - last night (January 14), making her one of the first artists to perform on SNL before having released an album.

However, she failed to impress Lewis and various Twitter users after appearing visibly nervous during renditions of breakout hit 'Video Games' and 'Blue Jeans'.

"Wow watching this 'singer' on SNL is like watching a 12 yearold in their bedroom when theyre pretending to sing and perform #signofourtimes [sic]," Lewis wrote on Twitter.

Del Rey recently signed to the Next Model Management agency, the home of Alexa Chung, Ellie Goulding and Jessie J.

Her debut album Born To Die will be released in the UK on January 30 and the US on January 31.

Juliette Lewis has an *abysmal* voice, whether she's nervous or not, so the irony here is shocking.

And why the fuck does she have to talk shit about someone who is literally just starting out and still frightened by all of it? Lana is attracting a lot of hatred already, it doesn't seem fair.

She's *such* a nervy performer. It's weird.

But yeah, Juliette Lewis really can't afford to slate anyone's musical talent. She is abysmal.

The actor in the 'Born To Die' video defends Lana and makes a brilliant point...

i so can't wait for her album! :drama:

heard the debut one a few weeks ago and while it certainly had some great songs and original sound, it also felt a bit weak and unpolished. hope this one is way way better!
