Erasure’s Frankmusik-Produced Album ‘Tomorrow’s World’ Out In October ![]() Madonna isn’t the only long-standing pop legend who’s getting back into the groove with new material. UK duo Erasure have announced that their upcoming 14th studio album Tomorrow’s World will be released October 4 in the States (a day before overseas), with lead single “When I Start To (Break It All Down)” to arrive ahead of that. To produce the album, Vince Clarke and Andy Bell turned to “Do It In The AM” crooner Frankmusik. “Vince Clark is an absolute legend to people like me who are big electronic music fans,” Frankmusic told Spinner back in April. “I’ve been working with him up in Maine, in snowy Maine … It was like -10 [degrees], five feet of snow. If you’ve ever seen the film Misery, that’s pretty much what it was like.” Sounds chilly, and we can’t wait to hear what these synth whizzes came up with! Tomorrow’s World will follow up Erasure’s last album, Light At The End Of The World, which was released in 2007. The band is heading out on a 25-date North American tour in support of the new LP, which kicks off in Tampa on August 31 and wraps up in Seattle on October 6. (Catch the list of dates here.) Frankmusik’s own LP, Do It In The AM, is due out in September. |

I've never really investigated their stuff, but I've seen lots of people praising this new album on blogs and FB. |

Decent album with standouts in "A Whole Lotta Love Run Riot" and particularly "I Lose Myself" which is something of a "corker" (to use the appropriate 80's "Smash Hits" lingo!) I miss their proper gorgeous ballads. |

Just saw the Tomorrow's World Tour last night.... was amazing fun! I hadn't heard the new album much but whenever they played a new song I though 'wow i really like this one!!'..... very pleasing They did PLENTY of classics too. It was a brill show ![]() Frankmusic supported and although I thought he was a bit of an arsehole when he first came out, he's a great performer and a powerful set of lungs on him!
