It looks like Beyoncé had planned on doing some new songs on tour

According to a picture of a picture posted on the Popjustice forum, it looks like Beyoncé had planned to do some new songs during her Mrs Carter world tour.

And still might of course.

In the picture (taken from the tour programme), you might be able to see the inclusion of ‘Standing On The Sun’, ‘Grown Woman’ and a ‘mash-up’ of ‘Diva’ and ‘Bow Down’.

For some reason this never came to pass, but maybe the tour will change as and when the various advertising campaigns do.

Here’s the setlist as it appears in the picture:
- Intro
- End Of Time
- Standing On The Sun
- Get Me Bodied
- Baby Boy
- Diva (Bow Down)
- Who Run The World
*Video
- Naughty Girl
- Party
- Freak Um Intro
- Freak Um
- I Care
*Video
- I Miss You
- Schoolin Life
- Why Don’t You Love Me
*Video
B STAGE
- 1+1
- Flaws And All
- Irreplaceable
- If I Were A Boy
- Dance For You
- DJ Dance Break
- Love On Top
- Countdown
- Crazy In Love
- Grown Woman
-Single Ladies

Clearly the plan was for the album or at least a single to be out by now. No idea what could derail such a high profile campaign in such a spectacular way.

THATs a new way to premier a new song! :sadalexz: :sadalexz:

well at least it seems like the choreography is just great, so the video could be fab! If it ever gets a release, of course. This song is already old news for me... I know it well from the snippets, ads, fan-made looped versions, and now this. Perfect way to make people tire of a song they didn't heard properly yet.

I feel like its a Rihanna song more music-wise, even voice... Boring-ish, but anyway as an album track its great.

You whined endlessly about what a horrific person and popstar she was to treat her fans like that and not have any new material on tour. Now she does and you whine again.

Beyoncé Creates Original Song “RISE UP” for the Upcoming Motion Picture EPIC

Beyoncé, one of the most widely recognized and highly respected women in pop culture, has created an original song, “RISE UP” for the upcoming Twentieth Century Fox Animation and Blue Sky Studios motion picture, EPIC, for which she also voices one of the lead characters. The song, performed by Beyoncé, is written by Beyoncé and Sia and produced by Hit-Boy and Chase N. Cashe. The track will be released by Columbia Records.

EPIC is a 3D CG adventure comedy that reveals a fantastical world unlike any other. From the creators of ICE AGE and RIO, EPIC tells the story of an ongoing battle between the forces of good, who keep the natural world alive, and the forces of evil, who wish to destroy it. When a teenage girl finds herself magically transported into this secret universe, she teams up with an elite band of warriors and a crew of comical, larger-than-life figures, to save their world…and ours.
Beyoncé voices the leader of this magical world – Queen Tara. Beautiful, agile and strong, Tara isn’t just the Leafmen’s Queen; she’s the life force of the forest, which she presides over with respect, compassion and humor.

Other members of voice cast are Colin Farrell, Josh Hutcherson, Amanda Seyfried, Christophe Waltz, Aziz Ansari, Pitbull, Jason Sudeikis and rock legend Steven Tyler.
EPIC charges into theaters nationwide on May 24, 2013 and internationally beginning May 16, 2013.

Beyonce always teeters between fashion and totally tacky ghetto mess. And I LOVE HER for it

Last year:

I'm just so tired of all these movie stars who wear the same conservative gowns wherever they're going because they're too scared they will end up on the worst dressed list. I looked at a slideshow of the looks this year and it was so boring and bland, just like the Oscars. I like people who aren't afraid to make a statement, and that includes Beyonce and Madonna.

Oh please. You can make a statement and still look beautiful and classy. They both looked like clowns last night. What exactly was the "statement"? "We have absolutely no taste"?

You want the honest truth? At first glance I thought both Madonna and Beyonce looked disgusting, Madonna with her ass hanging out and Beyonce with her matchy-matchy boots and gloves. But I at least wanted to give them props for taking a risk and sticking to theri own personal style (even if it is 'desperate granny tries to look edgy and hip' and 'ghetto prom queen' accordingly) and at least providing a talking point. For example:

these are some of the looks E! Online has in their top five. I'm sure they're super chic and elegant and fashion editors everywhere are creaming their pants over them but they look completely boring and forgettable to me, they just dissapear in a sea of Oscar gowns. And I always defend Gaga when she goes over the top (meat dress) even when other people are calling it garish, so I only thought it fair to defend these two :D
