Some people believe our lives are profoundly influenced by whatever pop song was #1 on the day we were born. My number #1's are: 'You're So Vain' by Carly Simon in the US 'Long Haired Lover From Liverpool' by Little Jimmy Osmond in the UK 'Ben' by Michael Jackson in Australia See which songs you get http://www.thisdayinmusic.com/birthdayno1 |

"Emotions" by Mariah Carey in the US "(Everything I Do) I Do It For You" - Bryan Adams in the UK "Rush" Big Audio Dynamite in Australia I don't know the last two. But I'm so no surprised about Emotions, I listen to this song at least once a week, I must say the very first singles of Mariah Carey are among my favourite songs ever, they are classic pop with elaborate and really amazing production, and her voice was so fucking strong back then. + Her first Best Of "#1s" was the first album I bought when I was a child ... 8 and already loving gay icon females ahahaha |
