I had 'Men In This Town', 'Gypsy' and 'Spy' on repeat on the iPod yesterday. Great little sequence.

There's one track which sounds horribly like 'Incredible' off Hard Candy though - ew!

I've been thinking the same thing. That run of three great songs is the highlight.

I actually like ALL of the tracks. I know the "Incredible"-ish one you mean, but it's nowhere near as shit as that!

Ba-ba-ba ba-ba-ba-ba!
Oh Christ I found myself singing that this morning while listening on my iPod.

Thing is, I kind of forgot I was on the tube.

Bit embarrassing :shy:

"Did It Again" is actually one of my least favourite songs on the album. A bit miffed it's going to be the next single when there are far, far superior songs on it(Spy, Gypsy, Men In This Town etc).

I really like this album but it's far too short...

Did It Again is my favorite so yet again I'm the weirdo.

I love short albums! I hate overlong albums with 18 tracks, only 10 of which are actually any good. Fair play to her for not falling into that trap!

How different will the US version of this album be? How many tracks are exclusive to there?

Yeah but this basically just has 9 tracks, that's just not enough...

^ true. Nine 3:30 minute songs is a joke. even M's "music" album was longer.

I still don't get why a very good, short album is a bad thing. Would you prefer a longer album with more bad songs or filler?

of course not. but they could've added an extra song or two, that's all.

it's a good album nonetheless.

pop albums should be restricted in containing 10 tracks, case closed.

A prime example of why he's right!

Albums used to be nice and short until the CD came along. :(

ever since erotica, madge's albums would have been rated way higher had they been released as 10 track sets. the cd format really eclipsed any sense of quality control.
