Rihanna father approves of Chris Brown relationship: 'They're perfect'

Rihanna's father has said that he approves of the singer potentially reuniting with Chris Brown.

Ronald Fenty claimed that Brown has "matured" since assaulting the 'We Found Love' star while they were dating back in 2009, adding that he could understand why fans see them as "the perfect couple".

"Chris has matured a lot," Grazia quotes him as saying. "I think everybody has to put the past behind them. And they seem to have done that.

"Being a couple is all up to her... I just wish her the best. I hope things will work out."

He continued: "Everyone is entitled to make a mistake. Her fans are hoping it will happen. They see them as a perfect couple."

Rihanna and Brown have been repeatedly linked since the beginning of the year and fuelled rumours by collaborating on remixes of each other's songs in February.

The 'Where Have You Been' singer was also believed to be the cause of a furious clash between Brown and Drake, another one of her exes, in a New York nightclub.

Her and her entire team are a complete mess (apart from the creative director - the videos are pretty good).

She clearly comes from a family of people who are thick as pig-shit. She's always came across as slightly lobotomised, I mean, she could barely string a sentence together during her "Smash" (really?!) performance at the Radio One Hackney Weekend.

I find it bizarre that she's still given a free ride from the general public after recording the Birthday Cake duet.

The more I learn about Rihanna, the more I think she and Chris Brown probably ARE a perfect fit :basil:

You know what? I think you're right. Seriously. She's clearly one of those trashy, ignorant women who think that ultimately it's ok for a man to behave like he does. In that case, they truly are a perfect match.

We can see now where she gets it from.

She just seems to revel in a trashy, faux-gangsta, THUG LYFE lifestyle and rampant drug use so Chris Brown seems to fit right in.

Rihanna was only "cool" before she realised she was cool. Now she just plays up to it and it's really quite tragic.

Surely its up to her who she dates? It's her free choice ..

Personally i can't stand chris brown and I think rihanna is a right thicko but she's free to do what she wants..

Two thirds of women in shelters seeking refuge from domestic violence were EQUALLY as violent to their partners ... So I don't buy this idea of women always being passive victims ...

I don't know what went in in rihannas relationship but at the end if the day it's her life and her decision ..

Agreed. I dont think these matters makes artist cool, or uncool. There's sooo much justifications in culture to her behavior... I don't wanna be one of 'The View' ladies here.

Brit was way lower, but she was able to give us Blackout.

Britney would never go back to someone who abuses her. And she has as much to do with her music as Rihanna does with hers. They basically show up to contribute a vocal which is then chopped up to a thousand pieces and passed through a thousand filters. They just have great A&R teams.

Can't proclaim what Brit would/wouldn't do, yes to the rest.

They and their teams mostly were able to deliver some great products. I take them as they are. More: I like them. Not as a *fan*, but I like them.

George Michael covering 'Russian Roulette' means something.

I don't think anything George Michael does in his drug and sex induced stupor would mean something.

Not sure what you're reading, but AT NO POINT did I say it wasn't her choice who she dates.

That DOES NOT MEAN that I think she's anything less than an irresponsible, ignorant, selfish piece of trash for doing it though. That's MY opinion.

Rihanna's new album to feature "anthemic stadium songs"

Rihanna is currently working on her seventh studio album and speculation regarding the production of the album has been rife, with everybody from David Guetta to Sia being listed as possible producers/song writers. Speaking to Kempire Radio recently at the BMI Live show in New York, singer song-writer Claude Kelly confirmed that he recently worked with the Bajan singer in London and that Sia, David Guetta, Harmony & Stargate have all worked on the new album.

Kelly; who has penned tracks for Kelly Clarkson (‘My Life Would Suck Without You’), Ke$ha (‘Take It Off’) and Jessie J to name but a few also revealed that the album will feature a new stadium sound rather than traditional radio friendly material.

“Rihanna’s a worldwide superstar at this point and she’s performing in stadiums and arenas now, so I wanted songs that reflected her audience,” revealed Kelly. “When I was in London she was performing at a festival in front of like I’m guessing like 30,000 – 40,000 people so I saw that sea of people sing along to a song, so I wanted songs that could do that. So I didn’t want small songs that only worked on radio, so I tried to do anthemic big stadium themed songs. She’s got a navy behind her so you gotta support the navy.”

Party girl Rihanna missed Paralympics warm-up
By GORDON SMART, Showbiz Editor
Published: 7 hrs ago

RIHANNA had such a big one at the Video Music Awards in LA, she missed rehearsals with Coldplay for the Paralympics closing ceremony.
The Bajan star was due to practise in Dagenham on Friday for her part in the high-profile spectacle but was delayed as she hit the town on Thursday night with mates.
A source said: “Rihanna had a private jet waiting for her on the runway in LA to get her to London but she kept it waiting as she celebrated her VMA win for We Found Love.
“She eventually landed late and went straight to the hotel, missing rehearsals for her guest spot singing Princess Of China with Coldplay.
“Over in Dagenham, Chris Martin got volunteers to sing along to Rihanna’s part.”
Rihanna needs to know what she’s doing tonight – she’s due to enter Stratford’s Olympic Stadium on a zip wire. Dutch courage drinks, anyone?

Jesus Christ. Does she never stop???

Rihanna's reign continues. According to Def Jam France, via Idolator, the singer will release her seventh studio album this November. She's released an album in November for the past three years.

In addition, Rih Rih will reportedly release her first single on Monday, September 17.

After the Rihanna Navy caught wind of the news, Def Jam's French arm deleted the initial tweet then sent out another one saying that more information will be released tomorrow (Thursday, Sept. 13).

"Nouvelle annonce ce jeudi à propos de Rihanna sur notre compte," Def Jam French tweeted, which translates to "New announcement this Thursday about Rihanna on our account."

The album news comes days after she announced the North American dates for her 'Diamonds World Tour.' Rih Rih also just performed two "Talk That Talk" singles ("We Found Love" and "Cockiness") at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards last Thursday (Sept. 6).

Are you excited to hear some new Rihanna music?

Thanks God. The thought of there being a week where a Rihanna track wasn't in the charts actually made my erection wilt.

(thankfully the 15-year-old Indian boy I own fixed the wilting problem)
