I will stand up for them, pointing out that they have lost so many staff due to budget cuts, that those left ate doing the job of three people. It's not just the subs fault, it's the fault equally of those who cut staff and budgets. Standards slip when you have a skeleton staff.

Yes, that's fair comment. But like any job if it's done badly the customer won't care why. Not attacking the specific staff there, just saying..

Well I don't think its inexcusable, I just think it's pretty clumsy.
And yes, the customer wont take the publication seriously if they can't even get a picture right.
I'm just saying that there are reasons why these things happen, and it's the fact that NME is being run into the ground.
