i knew you'd play that card :lol2:

well, it's a cool, well-written and produced cd which i still enjoy very much. but Burke only recorded a bunch of songs written FOR her, that's all. she's a product, just like Britney. i have zero respect for her as an artist.

Elvis didn't write his own songs. Whitney doesn't write her own songs. Kylie doesn't write her own songs.

Yes, it's great when an artist writes and records their own material, but you shouldn't dismiss people who don't. So much of what makes a song great is the voice of the artist who sings it and their interpretation. Don't get too precious about who writes what.

Cant see Olly being comfortable singing this. Bet Joe nails it. As for Stacey who know......

Simon Cowell confirmed on last night’s Xtra Factor that he had confirmed all the guest performances and duets for next week’s X Factor final. Tonight Irish entertainment show Xpose reported that those guests would be George Michael, Paul McCartney, Michael Buble and Robbie Williams.

It is thought that Olly Murs will perform with Robbie Williams, Joe McElderry will sing with George Michael or Paul McCartney and Stacey Solomon will duet with Michael Buble.

We’d love to hear your thoughts on the celebrity lineup, we’re a little disappointed ourselves.

It's pathetic to have guests on who were already on the show this series.

I'm a little mortified to think that artists of the calibre of Paul McCartney and George Michael might have to duet with the likes of this year's finalists too. Dear oh dear.

For me, tonight's performance by Irish contestant Mary Byrne is the greatest X Factor performance EVER, tied only with Beyonce and Alexandra's finale performance.

What. A. Voice.
