I have dedicated many an hour to hating Katy Perry as both a person and as a singer.
Now I find myself having loved many of her recent singles. Fireworks, Wide Awake, ET, part Of Me, Last Friday Night. They are all regulars on my iPod

How do I cure myself of such banality?

I like a lot of her stuff too. I'd even like to see her documentary.

Yes I find her pretty intolerable as a person and a performer too but she has some undeniable singles.

I tried to put my hatred on someone equally dull, Kelly Clarkson. Then found myself downloading Dark Side and Stronger because I love them so much.

It's strange, happened to me too once. I HATED Mumu's Shake It Off, yet it ended up being one of the most played songs in my iTunes.

Don't worry. It shall pass :)

Don't be ashamed of this, it's not like Katy made those songs sound the way they did anyway.

Of ten its the remixes of Katy's stuff that makes it more pleasurable.

Start familiarizing with her fans and you might stop liking her
It works with Gaga

Teenage Dream is an excellent Pop album - I was really tempted to buy the re-issue but resisted

I hate the bland, semi-talented bitch, but I have to admit she's had a few good singles
