True. She's a better live singer than KP as well.

She doesn't have a "big" voice, but I'd know it...and she's definitely a better live singer than Perry. But then, who isn't? :chuckle:

What her album cover would've looked like in 1989. Brilliant!

Heard her "Shake Up" thing recently, which was literally the first thing I've ever clapped ears on from her, and thought it was quite fun sounding.

But while I know fuck all about her music, I saw her on "Graham Norton" a couple of weeks ago and I quite liked her. She seems quite dry, a bit haughty, but with a decent sense of humour. Yeah ... I might even not switch off next time I hear, "So, next up is the new Taylor Swift ..."

Yeah, I quite like her I have to say. She gets a lot of stick for having so many boyfriends, but good on her I say! She's one very smart, very professional lady.

Check out "Welcome to New York", another new song from her album. I really love the synths and vaguely 80s vibe...

Yeah, that "New York" song is quite enjoyable.

And I'M certainly not judging her for enjoying her fair share of celebrity cock. You go, power slut!

It's such a good pop album. Pretty much flaw free from beginning to end. Really high quality songwriting.

It's pleasant and enjoyable alright but it also sounds WAY too samey and generic imo.

I think the songs separate and become defined the more you listen to them, but I mean, yeah. There's nothing remotely groundbreaking or exciting, but it's all done so, so well. Really good quality songwriting and production, plus genuinely clever lyrics at times. She's a big cut above a lot of her peers.

The album is iTunes #1 in over 101 countries. I had no idea she was that global!

Next single is Blank Space. On first impressions, I like Style better, but Blank Space is good too.

I can see quite a few potential single releases, but yeah, I'm surprised they didn't go with "Style" for second single.

I was sure I'd be tired of the album by now, but it's SO addictive!

yeah - i bought it in target yesterday morning and have been listening to it constantly. Initially only played the Out of the woods and welcome to New York which I had already heard....but it gets even better upon repeat listening
