Paris Hilton has come under fire after being caught on tape seemingly slamming gay men who have sex with strangers. In shocking audio obtained by website Radaronline, the 31-year-old heiress is heard saying that 'most homosexual men probably have AIDS.' The statements, which have been deemed as 'homophobic and derogatory', were recorded whilst the former reality star was travelling in a taxi on September 7 in New York City during fashion week. The blonde star had been partying with an openly gay male model friend in the early hours of Friday morning, and the pair were sharing a taxi. Paris's rant came as her friend began telling her about a cell phone application called Grindr, where gay men can find other local gay, bi and curious guys for dating with the help of GPS. 'Say I log into Grindr, someone that's on Grindr can be in that building and it tells you all the locations of where they are and you can be like, "Yo, you wanna f***?' and he might be on like, the sixth floor,' the friend explains to the reality star. Innocent: Since the tape has emerged, the socialite's representatives have issued a statement claiming Paris was merely pointing about the dangers of unprotected sex A shocked Paris is then heard saying: 'Ewww. Eww. To get f***ed? Gay guys are the horniest people in the world. They're disgusting. Dude, most of them probably have AIDS... I would be so scared if I were a gay guy. 'You'll like, die of AIDS.' The conversation was recorded by the driver of the taxi, who has told Radaronline that he was shocked over Paris's remarks. 'I couldn't believe what was coming out of Paris' mouth and the way she was talking about gay men,' he told the website. Since the tape has emerged, the socialite's representatives have issued a statement claiming Paris was merely pointing about the dangers of unprotected sex. 'Paris Hilton’s comments were to express that it is dangerous for anyone to have unprotected sex that could lead to a life threatening disease,' her spokesperson told Radaronline. 'The conversation became heated, after a close gayfriend told her in a cab ride, a story about a gay man who has AIDS and is knowingly having unprotected sex. 'He also discussed a website that encourages random sex by gay men with strangers.' They say that Paris's comments were directed at individuals who appear on the website Grindr and that the full excerpt of the tape has not been revealed. 'As she was being shown the website her comments were in reference to those people promoting themselves on the site,' then continued. 'The cab driver who recorded this, only provided a portion of the conversation. 'It was not her intent to make any derogatory comments about all gays. 'Paris Hilton is a huge supporter of the gay community and would never purposefully make any negative statements about anyone’s sexual orientation.' Meanwhile, stars have begun slamming the actress on Twitter over her comments. Among them, openly gay singer Boy George said: 'Another star tramples on flowers! SHAME!' According to official CDC statistics only 25% of gay men in the US may be HIV positive, and in particular that percentage is driven way up by gay black men, 1/3 of which are HIV positive according to the CDC. (Blacks don't wear condoms.) |

Again, it's driven up by the black community. African Americans are a laughably homophobic group, with few exceptions. It's actually become a cliche that TV shows like Law & Order use for their stories from time to time, it's ridiculous. Black people view homosexuality as a "white man's disease" and black men as such "can't be gay." Even a lot of the "down low" black guys that sleep with men on the side of their sham of a marriage say "I'm not gay, I just have sex with men!" when they are found out. They don't feel the need to wear condoms since they think "We aint gay and can't get AIDS!" Straight black people are no better, condoms don't even cross their minds. All these young black girls in the US have 5 kids by the time they're 25, from all/several different fathers, and they have never been married. Then they get on Welfare like it's up to the government and us taxpayers to fund their stupidity. They keep coming to our property in droves to try and get an apartment and my mother wants to strangle each of them, they have no credit and no income other than their benefits and have never worked. A few days ago this girl came and during the application process asked my mother, "Why do you look at our credit rating? It's not like rent is a bill!" Umm... yeah. I don't mean to sound like a KKK member here, reality simply isn't pleasant most of the time. |

I'm sure you're no racist and I know that sometimes the reality can *sound* like that. Do you think poor education is to blame for the problems amongst the black community? Why has this happened? |

Most black communities are poor, and as such have horrendous schools. Education is not something that matters to many blacks in America because they're never taught that it's important. Their homophobia stems from the near fanatical religious upbringing many of them suffer, even all these ghetto trash black girls I mentioned are always going on and on about Jesus. There are videos all over YouTube of black churches exorcizing the "gay demons" out of teenage congregation members. It really is a vicious circle, these people are ignorant but that's the environment they grow up in. |

I heard about this---while I'm not remotely a fan or follower of Paris Hilton, it's strange that people give celebrities reason to be self important. We are all aware that sometimes when our guards are down we just say things to people thinking that we know them well enough, that they will get it...fill in the blanks. etc. Imagine if you got called out for every little thing you said..and feel too self important to have a sense of humor or mind about the situation. i'd imagine people would go insane over that. I believe this to be taken out of context. I've heard worse from many other people. I'm sure the people making a big deal about it have said worse. Just don't pay attention to her. She's just rich. And? |

"Un pc" doesn't have to mean inaccurate, and therein lies the difference. |

un pc = not politically correct. there's nothing worse than an enabling hypocrite. obviously her remarks are not OK. BUT, I'm MORE THAN CERTAIN anyone who wants to waste their time breaking her apart, has said and done worse AND with intention. Without intention, not many people have backstabbing opportunists recording your every word knowing your bank account |

Um, could we get back to what this walking has-been cunt said, and the irony of it coming from a walking std? She did a barebacking sex tape, and she got caught using the word "nigger". |

beautiful stranger, you're not clever enough (judging from your replies) to play that card with me, so, don't. please. lol. im a good debater when i know i have a point:D this isn't about me for sure, or you (that is debatable i suppose, giving you the benefit of the doubt). i'm playing devils advocate. I'm commenting on celebrity and people who get consumed by them, and fail to look at themselves. This is not means of singling anyone out. It's a general observation. |

Questionable statistics. I think not all gay/bi men say that they're gay, when asked on the streets. So the actual pecentage I think may be way lower. |

In 2009, MSM accounted for 61% of all new HIV infections. Like it or not, MSM is the leading group of newly acquired infections. |

About GrindR, Manhunt, and even OkCupid: Every time I've gone and created a profile on these sites, stupidly thinking I'd be chatting and meeting up with guys who are just as comfortable with sex and sexuality as me, and can also manage to have intelligent conversation, whether chat or in person, I've tested the waters. The instant I talk filthy and push the boundaries with suggestions, I am countered with requests that would potentially put me at high risk if i were to comply. Just leaves me feeling so sad. And the times when I actually did have one night stands, it would be with guys who I later find just sleep around. All they do. I never understood that. The times I've done it I felt so empty and out of character. Needless to say due to all the shadiness I've encountered I have remained abstinent for 2.5 years or so. It's just not safe anymore and many men I've encountered are too complacent and accepting of the position society decided to give them. Needless to say my meeting off of site days are over. It's best to meet in person and best to meet someone who does not live off of these "dating" or sex sites. |
