Unfortunately it really doesn't have to, especially with the album being released closer to the holidays. Pt.1 topped 2 million without a single notable song on the album. If he put so little creative effort in to Pt.1 he probably didn't do anything different for Pt. 2, especially when the first did so well. No motivation.

Yeah, its okay.

Nothing to be excited for though, sadly.

His music is missing some core now. Even when the melodies are good, even if production is pleasing the ear. And its not just Timbaland.

The new song is sooo bland and forgettable.

Why are so many lapping up these undercooked, overlong, sub-Jacko b-side efforts?

there's incredibly huge goodwill concerning justin from the public. he's the only male superstar that appeals to the masses the same way the likes of riri or beyonce do so and he's been away for too long. the fact the edm trick tired people added to his appeal as the mainstream pop artist set to switch trends - remember 20/20 experience happened way before the likes of daft punk and robin thicke stormed the charts with their retro rnb sounds.

while not a big fan of the new song, i think it's gonna be massive. hey, with timba not involved who can argue that's not an improvement?

ps. why on earth did he bother filming a video for tunnel vision when knowing the lead single would premiere just a week thereafter?

That's what it comes down to, he can do what he wants to as he is the only relevant male singer out there...
Who is he to compete with ? Justin Bieber ? Bruno Mars ? Robbie Williams ? PSY ? :lmao:

Bruno is excellent, as is Robbie.

And yeah, Bruno may be a bit Jacko-lite, but at least he delivers strong melodies, not like Justin's limp affairs.

I think it's safe to say Bruno is relevant, considering the albums over 1.5 million scanned and the hit singles.

Bruno is boring, there' just no real star charisma there.... Robbie hasn't had a proper hit since Feel ? (and never had in US hit at all)

Who cares about charisma when you're listening to Timberlake's album and skipping every other track. The decent melodies are very thin on the ground. Charisma might get you through a live show, but the recorded music is where it counts and his songs are very lacking this time around. Bruno delivers brilliant hooks time and time again.

As for Robbie, his last album alone is better than Timberlake's entire output. And he's still a massive star over here.

"Blurred Lines" shits all over anything JT has released this year. Robin's music has progressed and changed over the years, not like JT who has a reject from his last album released 7 years ago acting as his most recent album's 2nd single.
