Better than the first one, but it's nothing special and SOOOO dated. Far too long and uneventful too. It's like something that didn't quite make the cut for his last album. Weren't there quotes from people who worked on the album saying it was going to revolutionise pop music? :lmao:
Uneventful, in EVERY single aspect.

That's the word I've been looking for to discribe THIS. I barely care if it's dated, if dated song is still good at its core - I take it.

That was the thing with Bey's "4". Dated, but the songs were good themselves. Really good. She did not create a new sound, but she created good songs. This guy is so up to create smth oldish new, whilst reproducing the worst.

The songs on 4 weren't dated. They were inspired by classics and timeless sounding. This Justin crap is just retreading old glories.

Blasphemy!

Timeless and '4' should not be used in the same sentence or even paragraph for that matter. :sadbitch:

she made a conscious effort to re-introduce some retro 80s rnb sounds within a modern context. not every song on 4 is killer, but one cannot take away the fact quality wise it's her most consistent set to date. love on top, schoolin life, i miss u and end of time are some of the best songs she's ever recorded.

as in the case of mirrors, it's quite pleasant for what it is. there's a very solid pop song hidden behind its dated production

The David Fincher-directed video for "Suit & Tie":

Beautifully shot, as expected, but it still can't save this dud of a song.

Justin Timberlake to Pull Double Duty as Host and Musical Guest of SNL on March 9th; Will Perform for a Full Week on LATE NIGHT WITH JIMMY FALLON

Justin Timberlake’s return to music/world takeover is adding a crucial component: a classic appearance on SNL. The Saturday Night Live veteran will return to host and act as musicalguest on the NBC variety show on March 9th, marking the multi-talented Timberlake’s fifth time as an SNL host. Timberlake’s appearance on the show always makes for some great comedic moments, and he’s actually netted four Emmy awards from his work on SNL. In case the hosting duties weren’t enough JT for you, though, it was also announced today that Timberlake will be appearing on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon for an entire week, from March 11-15. Timberlake will both perform and take part in interviews each night, all of this to promote his new album The 20/20 Experience.

Additionally, in case you missed the announcement during last week’s episode, Kevin Hart will be hosting Saturday Night Live on March 2nd with musical guest Macklemore & Ryan Lewis.

Indeed. A good video for a godawful "song".

Such a shame that Fincher was wasted on a song like this. :sadalexz:

Wow, I'm really in the minority here by liking both singles aren't I?
I find his music a whole load more interesting and exciting than Beyonce or Rihanna.

Riri has trash songs, but also very good ones too, if we talk her last effort. Justin's new stuff is neither trash, nor it is any really good. Just blah.

No, doll. I've just chanced upon the video for "Suit and Tie" and liked it. Both track and clip are hardly groundbreaking, but I thought they were really slinky. I read all the hatred for it on here, so was surprised to enjoy it so much.

I "like" them too, but is this really the best he can do after 6 years away?

To be honest, I've never been that interested in him (hence why it took me about two months to listen to "Suit and Tie" and will probably be another two more before I clap ears on his latest one) so I just listened/watched to it as an isolated occurrence.

Most of it his first album didn't really do it for me, but the second blew me away. I absolutely love it six years later.
