I gave it a couple more spins today while at the gym and walking the dog afterwards. I'm trying hard, like, REALLY HARD. I've also warmed up to a bunch of songs, though I'm not sure whether I genuinely like them or I'm just forcing myself to do so. However, what I do appreciate is her effort in co-writing all tracks, which is reflected in the quality of lyrics (quite surprisingly, she's a very talented lyricist as already exhibited on Impossible Princess even though not a lot of people are aware of that).

Oh, and didn't I state I would never go near one of those bundles sold on her website because of my disappointment? It took me a day or two to give in and order a bundle including the lovely picture vinyl, the deluxe cd and the 7'' of dancing. Shame the cassette has sold out as I would love to get my hands on that beauty, too. I'm such a pathetic sucker when it comes to this woman.

The Dublin record stores received one copy each of the cassette. Needless to say I wasn’t able to get it! Got the deluxe CD though...and the vinyl. :shy:

It has REALLY clicked with me today! How gorgeous is Lost Without You??? :drama:

It really is a grower of an album. Once digesting Kylie has actually dared to deliver a full on country-pop sound, everything starts falling into place bit by bit. I still feel it's a bit samey in places and I blame the somewhat tinny production on some songs - can't help but wonder if that was a conscious, artistic (of sorts) decision.

Hands off to Kylie for making (gay) people liking anything country music related. If there was any pop diva that could pull this off, it's her.

And, yes. Lost Without You is magnificent.

Kylie Minogue's Official Top 40 Biggest Selling Songs
06 April 2018 | By Justin Myers

It's the ultimate Kylie chart - Official Charts reveals her top UK sellers of all time.

2018 is a big year for Kylie – she celebrates the 30th anniversary of her first ever UK hit, massive Number 1 I Should Be So Lucky, and she's also set to turn 50 in May. Not only that, she's still knocking pop tunes out of the park with the release of fourteenth studio album Golden.

Before we head to the future, let's wallow in nostalgia and look back at Kylie's almost unmatchable catalogue of hits. She's had fifty Top 40s over the course of her career, with 34 going Top 10 and seven making it to Number 1 – but there's only room for 40 here, as we count down her biggest selling songs. See where all of Kylie Minogue's UK hit singles and albums have charted here.

I Should Be So Lucky
It all started here. Thanks to Stock Aitken Waterman, Kylie topped the chart for five straight weeks in early 1988 with this lovelorn banger. It's her third biggest seller, notching up 702,850 sales.

Especially For You
Giving the public what they wanted at Christmas, Kylie teamed up with rumoured real-life love and actual Neighbours co-star Jason Donovan for this smoochy, syrup-laden ballad. Thanks to Cliff Richard, it missed the Official Christmas Number 1 but did hit the top in early 1989. It became Kylie's second million-selling single when it finally passed the magic milestone in December 2014, and currently stands at 1.009 million sales.

Better the Devil You Know
Kylie's first reinvention saw her ditch the "girl next door" image and embrace a more, well, "girl two doors down who's got a tattoo and plays her music a bit too loud and drinks straight from the bottle" image. One of her many Number 2 singles – she has 12 to her name – Better the Devil You Know is in eighth place on her all-time chart with 340,000 copies sold.

Confide In Me
It was all change for Kylie in 1994 when she waved bye-bye to Stock Aitken Waterman and explored her creative side with a new record label, a wealth of collaborators queuing to work with her and a new sound. First up was this spooky epic, which has shifted 189,000 copies and finished 17th.

Spinning Around
A huge comeback, but 11 songs refused to move out of her way, Spinning Around from 2000 finishes outside the Top 10, with 314,000 sales. Read our interview with the producer of Spinning Around, Mike Spencer, here.

Can't Get You Out Of My Head
Here's the big one! Kylie cemented that comeback in fine style with this dance-pop juggernaut from 2001, spending three weeks at the top and racking up incredible sales to land her first million-seller. Can't Get You Out Of My Head la-la-lands at the top of her bestsellers' list, with 1.205 million of you finding a place for it in your hearts.

All the Lovers
Kylie's most recent Top 10 may have ended up peaking at 3 in the charts, but this 2010 single certainly made an impression, selling more than many of her Number 1s and all but one of her Number 2s, so to speak. 383,000 copies sold take it to sixth spot on the Kylie kountdown.

Dancing
Coming right up to date, while the lead single from Kylie's new album Golden is a little too recent to make a dent on her Top 40, it currently sits in 50th position.

Other notable tracks and chart facts
1989 chart-topper Hand on Your Heart (4th) has shifted 494,000 copies, and Kylie's biggest selling Number 2 single, The Loco-Motion (in 5th place) has sold 434,000. Kylie's most recent Number 1 Slow, from 2003, is her lowest selling chart-topper, on 135,000 copies.

Her biggest selling song to miss the Top 5 is 1991's What Do I Have to Do at 25 (136,000 sales), and to miss the Top 10 is 2010's Get Outta My Way at 28 (100,000 sales).

Kylie's biggest selling album track is the infamous Your Disco Needs You, which finished 52nd in her all-time chart. Check out our 50 golden chart facts about Kylie Minogue here.

Apprently the album is looking like it's on course to sell between 35-40k in the UK in week one. The Greatest Showman OST got 34k last week. It'll be tight!

Wow what a strange album!

My thoughts for now:
1. Probably her strongest album. Since the perfection of Fever.
2. Do I care for country tunes? (I adored Leston Meester's album or how that brunette fron Gossip Girl name is). So looks like I care.
3. When Live a Little's chorus is on (finally some current vibe), I ask: why does it gone now? I just was warming... It's just seconds, and then that country. Interesting song, like a man who never come into you.
4. I already found my bests:
Live a Little
Shelby. '68
Radio On (one of her best ballads for sure)
Raining Glitter (no country vibes, even with the guitar playing)

Strange album, should settle down.
