Yes, but she has at least 8 million sellers. Longevity and consistency are more important than peak. Notice how Dido has 2 in the Top 50. After those 2 albums? One certified album and then nothing. |

Absolutely. She's by FAR the most consistent female albums artist in the UK ever. There were some female artists who sold massive amounts with one or two albums, then disappeared. She had a couple of mega-sellers also, but many other big selling albums as well. |

Is her debut at 1 million sold? That was always the one nobody knew for sure. GHV2 started to fizzle in the 800,000 range but I'm pretty sure STR made it. |

her early 80s albums are supposedly under certified in the uk madonna the debut is certified platinum (300k) but there have been reports over the years it's sold 900k or maybe more same with like a virgin. it's certified triple platinum yet many sources claim it's sold double that amount (1.8m) it's been reported ghv2 has sold 800k, which should be quite an accurate estimation. something to remember is a definite million seller. it was certified triple platinum in early 1996 and i'm sure it remained a healthy catalogue seller for at least another decade |
