Codename: Aghanim Currently stationed at: Umbral Sector 7; City Square Time: 7:49 PM Mission: Protect the people and subdue any unusual activity in the annual Wild Mike Music Parade Standing among the crowd with his red hood over his head to keep his identity, he contacted the Ravenscar's team leader, Maxie Blackout, through his earpiece on the right ear by holding down the button with his two fingers. "Loud music, wild costumes, energetic civilians... Sounds like the regular parade. Did you pick up on anything suspicious, White Wolf?" Asked Rubedo, who was walking and passing though a crowd of people either wearing civilian clothing or some party get-up. An event such as this is susceptible to attacks coming from the Red Syndicate or anyone from the Phantom's Children. With that in mind, he has to keep a close eye on anything that might endanger the people around him. Holding down the button on his earpiece again, he contacted Maxie, saying, "White Wolf, go check on the crowd at a higher ground. I'll stay here so that I can catch the culprit." The people stayed by the sidewalk as they watch the giant floats pass by. One of them has a fancy lightshow and a popular singer on top of the pedestal. The drummers who're passing by had colorful LED on them, fitting the theme of neon lights around the city. The sounds of people cheering at the parade may seem that nothing is going to happen, but Rubedo doesn't see things as it appears to be, he'd rather see it for what it could be. The streets are largely populated by the people so any suspicious activity can be hard to find. Lucky enough for Rubedo he has some help from both the Cabinet and the Ravenscar Hive. Rubedo remained in the center of the crowd, watching over the people in secret. |

Loud music, thumping bass, cheering teens, and crazy drunken teenagers. The sky above may already be dark but for these people, the night was still young. The colorful lights around the perimeter of the area along with the glowing accessories everyone was wearing lit the parade up. Even though the even has been going on since the sun was up, everyone was still full of energy. Lots of people with lots of energy meant that anything could go down completely unnoticed. Be it a dangerous attack from a dark organization or a brawl going out between the fellow participants, eyes need to be kept on the area at all times. It was no dangerous mission, but an important task either way. Victoria was among the people that have been asked to patrol and keep guard at the event. Frankly speaking, she would much rather join the crowd in partying but a duty is a duty. The amount of people packing in the streets made it that much harder to move around and see things. Rubedo's voice came into her earpiece as he was trying to get in contact with Maxie, Ravenscar's team leader. She pressed down the button on her own earpiece to talk, covering her mouth with her free hand to ensure that her voice will be heard,"No need. Hold your ground, Maxie. I'm nearer to the higher grounds so I'll go check everything there." With that said, she went up towards the higher areas, again greeted by a sea of people. "God damn this is a lot of people," she mumbled under her breath, squeezing through the crowd to supervise on as much things as possible. |

All these lights waved rigorously by these drunken stupors does gave him a disorientation in his already impaired vision. It's as if he was seeing colorful neon butterflies flapping their wings above the air with people dancing underneath them like some sort of a worship dance. Hours be damned on how long was he scouting in the midst of crowds, with his eyes and ears began to wore out of the same electronic music blasted out of the amplifier with the bass and treble cranked up for the majority. "Oof!" One of the party goers recoil in shock upon standing in his way. "Watch it." Zul shoved the man away from him, continued to walk amongst the crowds. Nighttime activities such as this are prone to those of the Syndicates or the Phantom Children lurking around, whatever their plan is. With night can somehow impair their vision as well as lowering their stamina down, this is no time to even sleep on a job such as this. Loud sounds and distracting lights could even be the Cabinet's hinder as well, all the while they were required to be vigilant. "Nothing suspicious here, at the moment." The ghostwalker reported his current status over a radio. "You guys got anything up there? Over." |

"Zingz are....fine on my end. Just zat ze people... a lot of pozible targetz". Raiken sighed, the cool night air flowing through the densely packed street, her coat pulsing in time with her heartbeat. She actually looked in place for once, the nanite jars glowing with the LEDs on everyone else. The air felt electrified and damp, probably due to all the people partying on the sidewalks.Looking down from one of the lower rooftops, she couldn't help but want to go down and get some coffee. She might even be mistaken for one one of the partygoers too. "Yez....all zeemz well enough". |

The night was a new-born and still had some time before it died. The street was clean from any citizen, ready for the floats and the other parade members to step on it and perform their entertaining acts. The night sky blanketed the shining morning colours of the day. Stars soon started twinkling as they watched the happy people below them, shining as if trying to join in their celebration. The moon shone brightly, giving light to those who needed it from the darkness. Confetti popped everywhere, causing a big mess as a marching band played their song. For some reason, a lot of them were in their costumes. Some were fancy while some were just weird. Xenia didn't know why they had such attire, but maybe it was only because it's the theme of the parade. Blah! Who the hell cares anyway? Not Xenia. She walked through the dancing and cheering citizens, clicking her tongue now and then whenever she bumped into a person. If she weren't here for a mission, she would've already left without a second thought. But the Gods above never gave her mercy and decided to let her be assigned to this task. She walked her way to an open space to find the person she was supposed to meet up with so they can start the mission they were told to do. Her eyes showed seriousness, her eyes didn't wander and she only looked straight. With her hand fixing the other hand's glove and vice versa, her aura seemed rather intimidating. She was thankful her white coat didn't bring any attention. She tapped her heels to the ground, hearing the clicking sound despite the booming music from the entertainers. "Now, where are they..." So what's the best way to observe a perspective? You go to their level, literally. Maxie was walking along with the crowd and wearing an ordinary outfit to make sure his reconnaissance was stealthy. Who knows? The enemy might be disguised as an ordinary citizen, just waiting for the chance to strike. This is why Maxie's experience and powers is perfect for the situation. "Unless the enemy disguised himself as underwear bombers- everything else seems clear from this angle." notified Maxie. After having notified the team, Maxie continued his operation discreetly. |

Just a little further from the City's square, where the huge party was booming, rather far into the sidelines... a sole female stood. Though mostly unnoticable, due to the spotlight (Both metaphorically and literally) focused on the ongoing event, she was still present, watching the festivities unfold. For Syrille, it was a night of observing human behaviour. She had arrived in Avalon City over a year and a half before; however, she had been out of touch with humans, focusing on her basic training. Now that she was lurking out on missions, she finally felt it was an appropriate time to get acquainted with the rest of the population of Avalon. That night, she was off-duty. Normally she would have spent it at home, devouring a book or sipping tea or curling up in bed until she overheated herself. But, news on a large-scale party at the City's square had piqued her interest, and so she was there. As an observer, of course, as she had heard about 'bad things' that could possibly happen. Naturally, she had unarmed, just like any other civilian. She was sitting on a bench on front of a bakery shop, her ears shielded from the loud music by noise-reducing earplugs. Aside from the energy at the party, her senses could also detect some tension from what she perceived as the police forces. It was self-explanatory; such an occasion provided the perfect cover for illegal organizations, or even assassins such as herself, to commit their deeds. Due to that, part of her was happy she wasn't participating, or restricted by duty. As a mere observer, she wouldn't need to get involved in the slightest in case of any unpleasant mishaps occuring. Today was a rather enjoyable day as the parade was occuring. Chae-won decided that today would be the best chance to meet her new target. She was pretty sure that the Cabinet wouldn't be absent from an event like that and her target was in it. Choosing her finest black kimono she prepared herself for the parade. She blended in the crowd quite easily apart from the fact that her attire was peculiar and attracted lots of stares. Of course she didn't attract gazes just for the way she was dressed. Her perfume left a srong popular fruity note, sweet and tart at the same time recreated through cherry notes and grape. To her own unbelievable luck she noticed a man who fitted the description of her target perfectly. Medium-sized, well built, white haired and of course that mask of his. She was certain that this was the man she was looking for. Without hesitation she opened her light pink fan, making perfect contrast with her black kimono, but matched perfectly with the sakura trees designed on it and approached the man. She stood right next to him and started the conversation, revealing some of her slim and pale neck. "Enjoying the festivities?" she asked while fanning herself lightly.
