So, I'm reviving this topic for this quirky news story I found, thanks to this week's episode of Feed Dump. The old christmas song goes 'Grandma got Run Over by a Reindeer', yes? Well, iun this case, Reindeer got Run Over by a Grandma ((Ok, I know it's a deer, not a reindeer, but come on, the joke needed to be brought up)) |

Well that was a close shave. I imagine the opening number would be something like '♫Attend the tale of Sweeney Todd.♪ ♪The Kids are bleeding oh my god♫' |

Sad to hear this one. For me, HE was Willy Wonka, not Johnny Depp. Young Frankenstein was a family tradition at Halloween with my ex-wife |

Move up there? I'd be a chucicle, and not the kind that's tasty to lick. My mind has been in a whirl after this happened, I did not see it coming. How anyone could vote for a person expressing the things he has in this day and age is beyond my capacity to rationalize. I would say more, I want to say more, but I'm still processing this whole farce. The worst will be the next two years, and from there....well, we'll see how the midterm elections go. For now, I'm just gonna stay home, because I'm concerned someone might start praising him, and I'm not sure I could keep myself from grabbing the nearest object and leveling it full force into their skull. I am not well now, but I will be. |

I agree with Jay, really. It's aggravating and frustrating and offputting and a general horrible mess. On the other hand, I also dislike men in general (I give everyone a shot, there are good guys!) and have lots of issues with men in charge, so I've been in quite a mood the past few days, able to function at work simply being used to a prepared script that I can flow up and down and not worry about things going off. Fortunately the customers in general have also been kinda pissy...in a good way. But to keep life easier, I've been generally avoiding the news, doing my best to keep things aggravating down. Very glad for the awesome people here and at work that remind me that I'm glad I am where I am. :3 Huggles for everyone/everybun/everypony! *huggles* |

So if this is getting off topic, just lemme know and I'll post anything else.....elsewhere, in another thread or something. Finally felt up to venturing out today. I had worked on the tractor all day yesterday and this morning (when I am upset I throw myself into work heavily, and I've been repairing one thing or another since wednesday), and we needed some groceries, so we went off. I found my already limited abilities to handle social situations were drained quite quickly. Questions of 'how are you' were troublesome to answer, being met with 'adequate' or 'satisfactory'. I like to avoid confrontation, even when feeling confrontational. So yeah, not fun. Aside from that I got some parts I had ordered in the mail before all this, that I'd almost forgotten about. I've been trying to repair a rifle, and getting the needed parts sort of has me feeling ill. Just to clarify up front, I am not a gun nut. I inhereted guns from from my grandfather and father, and they have their uses when alot of your home is forested. The rifle never has worked right, so after some research I found that it was missing some pieces and ordered them. Right now though...well context might be needed. I know too many people around here who are republican/conservative, and who have been -terrified- of obama and dems taking all their guns away, to the point that some of them have even stockpiled weapons and crap. The utterly senseless way some people approach firearms, fueled by fear, has become so prevelant (from my perspective) that the thought of even having one turned my stomach a bit. I know it will pass, but for now it's just more annoyance. IN other news, you, yes you, up there, smokey toastman! I have not met you, but hello and salutations and whatever it is normal people say to greet someone. I haven't been around regularly in years, between projects keeping me busy, and other stuff, but I do poke my head in from time to time. I hope you enjoy yourself with this bunch around here, I know I have! |

Can 2016 stop sucking yet? Seriously.Stop it. You already took Alan Rickman and Gene Wilder from the acting world. You took from us David Bowie, Prince and George Michael from the musical world as well. Muhammed Ali, Anton Yelchin, Abe Vigoda... And then you took Princess Leia.. FUCK OFF 2016. I WANT A MULLIGAN. |

I'm thinking Grey has the answer for 2016 on his site today. As to the lost Princess, well, I decided these words were most appropriate "The Force was with her. She is One with the Force" |
