I am officially ready for any board game night.

Bring on the tentacles
"Would you like something to drink?" She opened the fridge. "We have water, milk, juice, spiders, Dr. Pepper-"
"Spiders?"
"Spiders it is then."
"No, that wasn't-"
But she was already pouring him a brimming glass of spiders.

Games you say? All I can think of is Hellraiser or Saw... solving puzzle boxes or time to play games... tentacles are only so much... Now mixing tentacles with those... now we're getting interesting.

What breaks first, the sanity or the body? o.o

One of the five 'boss characters' I've designed.
"Would you like something to drink?" She opened the fridge. "We have water, milk, juice, spiders, Dr. Pepper-"
"Spiders?"
"Spiders it is then."
"No, that wasn't-"
But she was already pouring him a brimming glass of spiders.

Nope. Dressed fairly modestly actually, with just her buckler to defend herself. Also designed four minion-type beings that will assist her in combat known as 'Aspects'

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lr0RdoNooI8 Got this from secret santa at my DnD Christmas PArty.

I like it. I plan to get a red one and name them Hack and Slash (Until I get a red one though, this one's temporary name is Scuzzy)

Like I said on your channel, looks like a good way to drive a cat crazy

Actually, I set that thing loose in my living room for a good five minutes. Cats didn't know what the fuck it was and just stared, occasionally approaching, but recoiling if Scuzzy ran towards them.

Two new presents obtained for myself in the past two days.

The first of these items?
Look at this thing.
This thing is awesome. However, I need to add some extra oomph to my cooling in here, so I went to pick up an extra case fan, some compressed air, and a new HDMI cable (the one I grabbed for my video card died shortly after. Stupid dollar store)

On the way home, I picked this up from the game store that opened up nearbyish:
Hive

I'm highly intrigued by this game. It seems to play like a weird version of chess, but with BUGS.

Alright FedEx. You have Until tomorrow to turn me from a doubter into a believer.

ETA of Package: Thursday January 31st: 2013.
Last update: 29/01/2013 9:31 AM SENNAN-SHI 54900, JP In transit

Bear in mind, it has spent the last five days in China and Japan. I assume that, at this point, it has been on a plane to Vancouver, where all my international packages seem to stop.

Then, judging from how things go, it'll likely go to Missisauga, and then finally come to London.

It has until tomorrow, 5pm, to arrive at my doorstep. Let's see it happen FedEx. Make me proud.

I called up FedEx to see where it was. I got an automated voice saying it was heading to a dispatch location to deploy it to my postal code.

So, my package ended u in Memphis last night.
I recall shouting at my computer, going 'Wrong country!'
Seriously, Japan had one job - fire my package to Canada on a plane. They missed and hit Tennessee.

Well, either way, it's so close, I can practically taste it. It's not a pleasant taste though. A weird combination of cotton, polyester, plastic, and faux leather. And a bit of cardboard.

Just got off the phone with FedEx. A few times.

Due to a tornado, my package didn't leave Memphis until a lot later today. It only arrived at Mississauga an hour and a half ago, as of this posting. Due to it needing to pass Customs... there is no way it will arrive here today.

The next issue came when I remembered that, it is impossible to buzz my apartment. My intercom simply doesn't work. Every other apartment? Works just fine. Mine? Nope.

So, I had to call up FedEx themselves to say 'yeah, A) Where is my package, and B) When can I expect it.

They said that, essentially, it could be delivered tomorrow any time between 11:30am and 5:00pm. Not exactly the best time frame when I would essentially need to wait down in the lobby, where there are no chairs to sit.

So, I got a hold of my building manager. FedEx has now been given a keyless code to get into the building so they can personally come right up to my apartment.

Here's hoping they don't send Derpface McGee to do so.

Invest in a folding camp stool for those annoying lobby waits.

There won't be a need - they have a keycode, so they'll bring it right to my door.

The only -possible- way for me to miss this is if they were to deliver it right at 11:30, while I am still on my way home from work.
